Remembering BitOfFun

The awesome BitOfFun died two years ago.
She loved this board and I just wanted her name on here at this time.
She was a friend of mine on here and in real life. When she passed there was a weird competition about who knew her best. Don’t even start with that shit. Just let’s remember an awesome human being.

I remember bit of fun. A name just always there.

Love to all who knew her here and in real life.

She was awesome, and I hope her dog is still getting the odd Maccie D's.
I had breast cancer and was on the cancer thread a fair bit at the same time as her, I thought she was great and think of her often aswell as some of the other ladies who we lost from the thread. I never got to meet her sadly x

Thanks for the responses. I’m not on Facebook and I assume she’s being remembered there but this place was very special to her.

Always used to hear her name in my head as 'Boff'. Lovely poster, a MN classic herself.

Oh I didn't know she died. That's terrible. I've been here for years under different names. When I don't see someone on here anymore, I always think they must've just changed their name. RIP BoF. 💐💐💐

It's really weird that you posted this because I was thinking of her just today. I didn't know her at all but I used to see her posts and she sounded a really nice, fun woman. But I think about her quite regularly because, after she died, a few people wrote that she'd been really kind to them when they were struggling. That made such an impact on me - that what we write on here can really affect people for good or bad.

So sometimes now I write things and then, thinking of her, I delete or edit them because what I've written isn't kind. It might feel what I wrote was true but it could have been kinder. So although she wouldn't even know my name, she has influenced me for the better quite a lot. Isn't it funny how you can be touched and impacted by someone you don't even know.

Same. I’ve been here for twenty years and remember her on some real classic MN threads. I’m shocked to have not realised she’d died. Terrible.
