Just found myself stood next to David Cameron and said nothing

Now rehearsing conversations in my head. What would you have said.

OP posts:
GoodChat · 10/04/2023 17:28

I'd have said nothing unless we were having polite conversation.

Or maybe "it doesn't need to be Christmas to know you're sitting next to a turkey" because it still cracks me up.

SheilaFentiman · 10/04/2023 17:28

Why the heck (rude word redacted) did you hold the referendum without putting in place super majorities/majority of nation states/any kind of safeguards, you absolute tool?

AnonymousArabella · 10/04/2023 17:29

Oh gosh. There is lots I would want to say but in reality I would probably just stand there and not say anything at all.

I did hear him asked once if he sleeps well at night. He said he does.

EmmaEmerald · 10/04/2023 17:29

Nothing. Matt Hancock, I'd be at risk of landing myself in jail. But Cameron seems tame now.

BonnieGlasses · 10/04/2023 17:29

I wouldn't have said anything either. I don't think it's fair to bother famous people when they're not "working", at least I assume he wasn't.

bellinisurge · 10/04/2023 17:29

"This is all your fault " is what I would have thought. I would like to believe I would have said it too.

Amboseli · 10/04/2023 17:30

Gosh so many things I'd like to say but can't think of a short sentence to sum it up.

You fcking twt maybe.

Succinct. Nice.

Whataretheodds · 10/04/2023 17:31

"how do you sleep at night?"

I agree....why was you so cock sure that people would vote remain??

notprincehamlet · 10/04/2023 17:33

Think I'd have just walked away humming a cheery tune

Loria · 10/04/2023 17:35

It's all so fucking awful that i would have said nothing too. How on earth do you verbalise fifteen years of SUCH???! The entire country is failing to function and that arse-faced oily cunt is as he ever was. Nothing you say can fix it.

Loria · 10/04/2023 17:36

He does want nutting, though.

LizzieSiddal · 10/04/2023 17:37

I’ve thought about this often, and can’t think of anything which wouldn’t get me arrested by his security other than “You’ll go down in the history books as the person who allowed this shit show to happen”.

UnDruidlyWords · 10/04/2023 17:40

I had the same once. It was when he was still PM and I found myself within slapping distance of him, could have just reached out and done it. It was very tempting!

Otherlifeform · 10/04/2023 17:41

I saw him occasionally at an activity my DD and his DD did. I wanted to say something but didn’t because it would have embarrassed my DD and mortified the organisers. Still regret it.

Mutabiliss · 10/04/2023 17:42

I think 'This is all your fault' snarled with venom would convey everything I feel about him.

Unfortunately his ego is so huge (hence why he assumed he would win the referendum) he wouldn't care what I thought. But I do blame him for all of it - Brexit, Boris Johnson, Matt Hancock, the useless Covid response, the Tories becoming UKIP - it all stems from Cameron being a fucking twat.

mildlydispeptic · 10/04/2023 17:42

I was talking to someone who works in a shop in Mayfair. He said Cameron came in with his son and another client had a go at him. I like to think he gets it in the neck on a reasonably regular basis.

megletthesecond · 10/04/2023 17:42

Asked him if he's having pork for lunch.

Oh that is pleasing 😁 Well done that person.

I like to think people still boo Boris Johnson when he appears in public. I certainly will if I ever get the chance.

Oblomov23 · 10/04/2023 17:44

I blame him for Brexit.

LizzieSiddal · 10/04/2023 17:44

I did actually see him once but he had his Dc with him so wouldn’t ever say anything in-front of them. They can’t help having an utter twat as a father.

Same here. It’s not like he’s going to reconsider his past decisions because of some clever thing I said to him .

Crocodilekneecaps · 10/04/2023 17:45

‘Twat’

Lonelycrab · 10/04/2023 17:45

Too right it was. Spineless fool.
