Anyone else up?

I'm awake! Staying at DPs, my 12 year old DD has a sickness bug and I have a streaming cold. I'm in with her tonight to keep an eye as her temp was high and I cannot get to sleep.
What are you night owls up too?

That's rough for you both.

I'm awake waiting for 18yo dd to get in after a night out with friends. She doesn't go out much and never this late. Plus texts I sent an hour ago havent been replied to so I'm trying to keep a lid on my nervousness about it.

Oh I've had better nights! to keep her temp down I've got the fan going which is doing my cold the world of good I'm sure.... 😂
Oh blimey I would be terrified. But then I remember when I was that age and starting to test my wings. I'm sure she will be fine, probably still on a dance floor somewhere and having a grand time!

@OrlandointheWilderness That sounds rubbish, especially over Easter!!

@DrMadelineMaxwell hopefully she’s stayed out longer than intended with friends and comes home soon. Not sure how I will cope when my DD is similar age.

I’m up with a 20 week baby that never sleeps! Finally got her down tonight (1am) and she did a poo. Changed her nappy, got her back down and she did another poo. You couldn’t make it up. It’s now 3.18am.

I am up. Godawful period that means changing my pad every hour. Too scared to sleep in case I leak and stain the (expensive) mattress

Ah @EssexMamisoa I doubt there will be much chocolate tomorrow, and wonderful DP will sort the dinner. Oh blimey that takes me back..! I remember the exhaustion of the baby days.
@Stepbystep100 I really feel for you. I've recently started having panic attacks after 20 years of not having them and they are awful.
@myheartmyhead sounds horrible. I used to have periods like that, I used to resort to many dry clean towels to sleep on to get some shut eye!

8 year not been well last couple of days.
Fever and headache.
She woke up around 2.45.
Given her medicine just staying with her until she falls asleep again.

And we had booked a day out tomorrow.

Not sure if it will still go ahead.

I woke up not long ago. Apparently I have covid (had to get tested because of contact with +ve person) but aside from a sore throat I can't really tell

@DrMadelineMaxwell am sure dd is having fun with friends and perhaps phone out of charge

I’m awake and I’m hospital , long story but dehydrated and body refusing to rehydrate so awake and dry again with headache and blurred vision - been here since Thursday and they just can’t get me stabilised and BP back up

im up as I’m pregnant (unexpectedly) and been worrying myself that I won’t know what to do with baby. I’m doing it single handed this time my youngest is 8 so a massive age gap

Another streaming cold here, kept waking up to blow my nose but didn't want to wake my baby so decided to take myself downstairs for a hot drink. He's due a feed any time now so I'll be exhausted tomorrow! second the towel for heavy periods, dry nites would also work in future

No unfortunately not it was a one night stand that went kinda wrong please no judgement my no one in my real life knows much about it as there the most judgmental people around

Full on heavy cold and sore throat here! Dh been up and down most of the night so any chance I had of a decent sleep gone. I’m taking 2 kids away solo for the week mon- Fri so really could do with sleep but never mind super chilled Easter Sunday to come!
