What are you up to on this Good Friday morning ?

I hope you are well. Nothing much here as have a sick child (who’s over the worst) and dh is at work.

we had to cancel a weekend away.

I'm going to have a coffee. An outfit for a special occasion is arriving so will try that on. Will settle down with some nice YouTube vlogs and kids will watch a movie 🎥

Lovely morning so just had a swim and then got into hot tub with my coffee before I make a start on lunch for 12.

As it is Good Friday we'll be going to Church later.
At the moment I'm having a very long bath and thinking about planting my seeds.

Not much! Dog has had her walk so that's one thing ticked off.

I run an eBay skincare/makeup store so I have a lot of new things to list - been putting it off but want to get most of it on today and tomorrow as BH weekends are generally pretty popular times for potential buyers. I also have to make up a few bags full of similar goodies to give to the ladies that look after our pets when we're away - they're holding a charity raffle and I said I'd donate.

This afternoon we're starting our annual Easter board games tournament with our two girls, which is usually great fun!

I’m kind of a bit house bound due to dc not being well but I did some repotting of my little shrubs this morning while he napped.. I bought them in a market. I didn’t know much about plants a few years ago but I have really enjoyed it. When the shrubs get too big for the pots we replant into the borders and it’s starting to really improve the whole garden.

What a lovely selection of plants! Those purple flowers are beautiful.

Having a coffee. A man in a cassock who I assume must be the local vicar has just walked by the window, accompanied by a man with a large wooden cross, several elderly people and a handful of dogs. (The dogs were with people. We don’t have a feral pack of religious dogs round here.)

Walked 5k this am then opened new ISA for tax year.
Lunch with DH and DC at Wagamamas later, maybe followed by a walk in town and coffee.
Clean downstairs later whilst everyone watches something on a screen probably 😂

I’m pottering about, been tidying the garden. Got back from Lanzarote yesterday so have a mountain of washing, even though we only took hand luggage 🙄
DH is out working, (self employed) servicing peoples boilers, only 3 jobs though so will be done by lunchtime.
We are having our 3 year old Grandson for a sleepover tonight, DD and Sil are having a rare night alone, they haven’t got his kids till Monday.

I'm off to church for The Passion at 3pm then fish and chip supper. Currently sat drinking a coffee and need to force myself to get ready and go to the supermarket this morning!

Dh is pegging washing on the line. I have just finished the last of my work that I have been chipping away at all week (teacher) so having a cup of tea with the doors wide open. DD is in bed with he BF. DH and I are planning a couple of drinks in a local beer garden this pm but I need to get dressed after my brew.

We have a lingering tummy bug so DH has called in sick, I don't work Fridays anyway but I'm finding today tough. Managed to take the little one out in the buggy for some fresh air and a nap. Have to collect the 3yr old at 1pm and kinda dreading this afternoon!

Been for a run in the sunshine and now we're going to take the kids to the shops for baking ingredients. DD wants to make cookies! Contemplating cinema later but the weather is so nice maybe we'll find a National Trust or something. Then I've got my friend's birthday drinks this evening.

Managed a run first thing. Now watching TV with DD after a little walk. DH has taken DS to the cinema and a bit of shopping. Might coax DD out in the garden this afternoon and tidy up the Conservatory so its fit for use again this year (it currently has christmas dumped in there) this evening it's a big curry with DH and catching up on MAFSA together

We are on our way to three days in Lytham st Annes.
We have beach huts today and it's glorious. We have a posh picnic and a few bottles of wine.
We are meeting up with friends so there will be 30 of us in total.
Really looking forward to it.

We've had a lovely lazy morning. About to head out to buy some snacks as we are off to the cinema this afternoon to see the SuperMario film. DS2 is a huge Mario fan and has been waiting months for this to come out. He's been up and dressed up as Mario for several hours already. We're meeting friends who have a son who is equally obsessed! Then will probably get an early dinner with them after the film as we've not seen them since Christmas and it would be good to catch up.

No plans for this evening, probably watch a film with DH when the DC are in bed. Dog went to daycare yesterday so he will probably sleep alllll day.

We are having a lazy morning. The baby woke at 5, but is napping, so we are all in one bed chilling. We are going for a picnic at a national trust place later and then finishing our Easter crafts. I will crack on with some prep for Sunday while I make dinner tonight.

Still very ill with cholecystitis. Still can’t eat anything. Ate a single rice cake earlier in desperation & now have pain.
To add insult to injury I’ve also woken up with a really irritated eye. Hoping it’s just my dry eye playing up & not another ailment. 😑
I’d like a nap but DH is fixing up the bathroom (tbf I’ve been nagging him for months to finish it).

We’ve had a lazy morning but all got off our backsides about half an hour ago. Dh has gone for a haircut then is off to work for a few hours, dd8 is being picked up by her friend in half an hour and going out for the day with them, dd18 is at work at 12 so I’ll drop her off then to and do the food shop and dd15 is still asleep, she’ll probably surface around the time I get home.

House is clean as it was done yesterday so I’ll have a nice, quiet afternoon to sit and read by myself.

I’ve cleaned the house first thing so the rest of the day will be sorting our neglected garden as it’s such a beautiful day here.. Kids are happy doing Easter crafts and painting eggs. My eldest has a first aid course later that I’ll be taking him to. IF I’ve got any energy left after that then I’ll make a mini egg cheesecake for to have with our Easter roast.

Spending our last day on holiday with family before travelling home tomorrow.
We're going for a walk around the town, getting some chips to eat on the beach, home get some packing done before going out for a meal this evening and an early night. Heaven x

Went to Pilates early.
Had a great breakfast and coffee.
Got flowers for friends and parents we are seeing this weekend.
Now, sitting in the garden with a tea - it’s so sunny. I am taking the kids out to an exercise class later but in the meantime I don’t know what to do!
