What are you up to on this Good Friday morning ?

I hope you are well. Nothing much here as have a sick child (who’s over the worst) and dh is at work.

we had to cancel a weekend away.

I'm going to have a coffee. An outfit for a special occasion is arriving so will try that on. Will settle down with some nice YouTube vlogs and kids will watch a movie 🎥

It’s a beautiful day here. The dogs have been walked and I’m having breakfast wondering what to do with myself. DH and I were supposed to be going for lunch but that won’t be happening now as some twats have got lost on the hills and DH is MR.

Thank you to your husband - there are some idiots about. Hope he's back soon and safely

Still in bed with bit of sore throat - DH just had Covid so hoping not that and it's a touch of "not awake yet" syndrome.
Will walk dog soon then nice lunch then DH and DS off to football

Washing 😂.

We're off to a Willy Wonka themed Easter event later on, maybe a walk somewhere.

I have to pick up some eye drops and antihistamines as my hay fever has snuck up on me this year. Don't tell me I don't know how to have fun 😂😂.

dc going to their dads shortly, I’ve got 2 loads of washing to go on the line, need to make Easter egg hunt clues on the laptop and print them, then food shopping and a trip to hobby craft. Also need to buy a bday present for a party tomorrow.
hoping to get a couple of episodes of Night Agent in before they come home again tonight.

Going for a walk with the dc and will have some lunch while we’re out. Meeting my friend this afternoon for a dog walk and she’s coming back to mine for drinks and cake. Tonight we are out for bils birthday dinner. Dh is spending the day doing stuff in the garden. It’s a lovely sunny day for once!

Making a chicken & leek pie for tonight, then off to do a couple of hours volunteering - and then working this afternoon. DH is playing in a golf competition this afternoon after his volunteer driving this morning. I will leave work early (I am the boss Grin), drive over to my elderly mother's for a cup of tea and meet my DS off the train as he's been in London for a couple of days. Quiet evening at home with dinner and wine. So nothing very exciting but pleasant Smile. Happy Easter to everyone.

(And eating a delicious almond croissant for breakfast).

Currently having a coffee and waiting on Tesco delivery. Then need to go feed and sort out horses and chickens. And prep food for dinner. Then we’re going on a long walk with a picnic because it’s not pissing it down for once.

We don’t work Fridays, so our usual quiet day will be busy with other people around, we’re on the way to the metro so we can go to Skansen. As a treat we went out for breakfast.

Currently enjoying a delicious creamy freshly ground coffee in the sunny orangery conservatory whilst MNing. Wishing it was only the birds I could hear, not the builders cutting stone next door. Too bloody loud and early for a bank holiday.

DP is working for a few hours so we're just having a lazy morning. The kids let me have a lay in until almost 8.30 today (older 2 came down to watch TV and little one came in with me!)

I'm doing the usual morning chores and will make a packed lunch as we plan to head out in a few hours, when DP gets back. We're debating river or woods. River will be busy (sunny BH weekend) but woods will be muddy. I'll see what the majority want to do!

A velly full of hot cross buns. A load of washing in the machine ready to go out in the sunshine. Husband is mowing the lawn. Toddler and I are building duplo towers.

Church outside service in a bit. Then get the baby things out of the loft while toddler naps this afternoon.

Just about to order a maccies breakfast.

I've had covid and whilst feeling better feel utterly exhausted however still not sleeping properly at night.

Feeling a bit out of sorts, have been struggling with health anxiety very badly recently, but trying to find the good in every day at the moment!

In bed with coffee and Pain au choc. First lie in of a week off as my DH was still working and DD16 was doing the lifeguard course so had to get up to get her there.
House is quiet but jobs are running through my head. Hopefully a gentle walk with one of the DD's later or a bit of garden tidy.
Not sure what food to cook possibly a pork noodle thing.
I feel like I'm always in a food shop lately but I do need a few bits so might do that first.

Been and done the weekly shop, we have 3 days of sunshine coming according to the weather app so going to go out to B&Q in a bit and pick up a Hippo Bag so we can do some big garden clearing. I was going to do multiple tip runs but have decided I'd rather pay the extra for the Hippo truck to come and take it away.

Been up since 8 preparing for dinner with the family. Am doing a bit of a traditional Christmas dinner with turkey and pigs in blankets!! And have been cleaning etc.

looking forward to when they’ve all gone and I can relax!

I’m kind of a bit house bound due to dc not being well but I did some repotting of my little shrubs this morning while he napped.. I bought them in a market. I didn’t know much about plants a few years ago but I have really enjoyed it. When the shrubs get too big for the pots we replant into the borders and it’s starting to really improve the whole garden.

Lounging on the sofa. Enjoyed a rare lie on and a lazy morning after a hectic few weeks.

I'll get moving shortly and go to the shop. I need to pick up bread and milk and something for dinner.

I have my Dad staying this weekend and he's coming up tomorrow, so I'm going to clean the house today and clear out the spare bedroom which has become a bit of a dumping ground.

DD is frying up some chicken in a soy and honey sauce. She made it for dinner last night and had some leftover ingredients so she's making another batch to take into work. She's off to work shortly so I guess I'll be cleaning up the mess Smile.

DCat2 didn't emerge for breakfast which is verrrry unlike her - hope she's not feeling sick.

Calling to a friend's house later - looking forward to a catch up with her and her husband.

We're still in bed. Will get up, have brunch, put some washing on. Nip out to collect something and might fuck my diet off and get some hot crossed buns. Might go for a walk, then home to start a deep clean as we have a viewing on Tuesday. And a bbq for dinner.

I had a lie in (a wasted one as I woke up around half 6 and couldn't get back to sleep but just scrolled on my phone in bed), vacuumed upstairs, supervised DS tidying up all his toys downstairs and put the toy boxes away in his room. Having some tea now and then I'll vacuum the downstairs before DD's friend comes round.
Also wrote clues for the Easter egg hunt but cheated and used an online clue generator Grin

Later on I plan to make some tar toffee and maybe watch a film with the children.
Also need to put DD's new bike together with OH's help once he's finished playing guitar.
