I don't think it was her. She has her private security team with her and they wanted to give the court security people something to say thank you for their help. The lawyer checked it would be OK, it wasn't but judge did say they can be given after the case.

It’s a civil trial. There is no “guilty” or “not guilty”.

All that can happen is that she can be held liable to pay damages to the plaintiff.

He seems like a chancer. If I were her (or anyone with deep pockets) I would want to fight it to stop other people suing me over nothing and hoping for a settlement.

Doesn't he say she skied into him which may be her fault depending who was where on the mountain . So doesn't it depend on who skied into who and who was where on the mountain. The person higher up has to "give way" to the person below and is in the wrong in a collision normally .

I expect high profile wealthy people get people attempting to sue them quite regularly, and have to fight the claims or they would just be writing a blank cheque to the world.
