My usually very conservative leaning sil has rejected the offer. She agonised over the decision before sending in her vote. If she's rejected it, I suspect most will have done the same. Striking isn't something she wants to do.

I interviewed one of the main opposition leaders in Rwanda.

She warned that Rwanda doesn't have space for thousands of migrants from the UK, they'll struggle to find jobs, they'll worsen Rwanda's unemployment problem & they won't be safe if they protest:

The Opposition leader Umuhoza commented that unemployment rate is 16% (21% of 16-30 year old).

But I suppose if the UK government is willing to stump up £140 million and pay ongoing costs of housing & food the Rwandan government probably feel like they are getting a good deal.

I also see that Sunak is going to deliver a maths pledge - apparently a poor understanding of maths should not be "socially acceptable".

Good job we are practically overflowing with maths teachers then isn't it...

@Notonthestairs maybe he should start with himself then and do some basic maths around his Brexit trade deals vs the cost of leaving the EU...

Rishi Sunak can't get anyone to ask him a question about his maths announcement or an anything else.

Meanwhile the NHS is spending £1 million a week on private ambulances to plug "gaps in services".
Something definitely doesn't add up.

Is that why he and Boris couldn't count the number of people in a room and measure 2m to know that they were breaking the law?

Parliament's standards watchdog opens investigation into Rishi Sunak over possible failure to declare an interest.

Is that his wife's shares in a childcare agency (the ones that went for drinks at Number 10 after the childcare announcement) or something else?

Integrity, professionalism, accountability.

Yes, the politics show has just said it's to do with being able to get more vouchers if you go through his wife's agencies.

Definitely no conflict of interest there, integrity and professionalism seem to be lacking, maybe they can get him to assume some accountability? 1 out of 3 would be a start.
