Just been to Asda for my weekly shop. Anyone want to guess how much it was?

I usually use Tesco online but today thought fuck it, spice up your life and try something new.

We shop in Asda usually, 2 adults 1 DC and spend between £85-£100 a week depending on if we need cleaning supplies, toilet rolls etc

rainbowstardrops · 17/03/2023 13:19

Assuming no alcohol in there and it's for a whole weekly shop, I'd say £112

sunlovingcriminal · 17/03/2023 13:23

Similar household composition- it'd be about £120 - £130 here. Including usually one cleaning material and a bottle of wine

BlessedBeTheFruitCake · 17/03/2023 13:23

£75

marshmallowsforbreakfast · 17/03/2023 13:24

£95

Overthebow · 17/03/2023 13:25

two adults and one toddler here, our weekly sop can be anything from £60 - £150 depending on the meals we want or if I'm trying to save money. So somewhere between that?

Marchforward · 17/03/2023 13:28

£168

It completely depends on your diet. We have 2 adults and 2 young children and it’s all meals DD1 school lunches and we spend £200 a week. I need to go back to Lidl.

EggyBreads · 17/03/2023 13:34

Asda used to be much cheaper. I went in one recently and was shocked at their prices.

BigLittleOwl · 17/03/2023 13:41

SchoolTripDrama · 17/03/2023 13:41

Should give Morrisons a look, you'll faint

Drakmo · 17/03/2023 13:42

I find it cheaper to shop in Sainsbury's these days

Diorinthecountry · 17/03/2023 14:02

Sorry posted to soon. That was eight bags full of stuff. I couldn't believe the prices.

OP posts:
WeeOrcadian · 17/03/2023 14:05

8 bags isn't a weekly shop though, nor is that amount. That's more likely 2 weeks + big stuff like washing powder.

What the fuck did you buy?!

I can do our weekly shop in ASDA for about 70 quid!
