It is lovely to have a choice - (that sounds passive aggressive, but I genuinely mean it!).

Good for you, but for those who want to but didn't want to be essentially penalised for doing so it's good news.

Several years of ill health and some forward planning for our retirement (some by luck and some by judgement) helped form my opinion.

I never thought I would retire, but here I am at 60 and the thoughts of going back to work does not appeal at all. Who would have thought it. I mean that genuinely.

Regardless of personal circumstances as to whether or not you have retired, the Budget will do nothing to change that decision.

If you want to increase the workforce size, better off having lower numbers going to university, and/or doing a deal with the EU similar to Norway.

Quit nursing this year at 49 years old. Have enough savings to last me til 55 when I get my pension. I work part time (not healthcare related but still helping people with a skill. I would rather die than work in healthcare ever again). Might try one of Jeremy Hunts boot camps.

Has Jezza hoicked the amount I can put into my pension after accessing it, or did it stay at £ 4k a year?

Cheers for introducing extra funded childcare to start at the same time my youngest starts school so I see zero difference.

I'm actually really pleased they've finally extended funded nursery hours but also gutted to have missed out.

Many of us who are 50+ and not in employment are actually working. In my case as a full time carer for £69.70 per week. Now do eff off.

Dear Jeremy, it must be nice being so rich you never have to worry about disability. Your lot moved the goalposts for PIP, made it harder to claim as well as qualify, and now you made PIP the standard for disability benefits.
