Sunday plans. What is everyone up to today?

DP is working today. Ds and I are in our snoodies watching Cbeebies. Having a lazy morning after a busy week. Most housework done yesterday just need to put a wash on and do a wee bit ironing.

Mum and MIl coming for lunch then a roast dinner later 😋

I had a lie in until 8 as Sunday is DH turns to get up with toddler.

Off to church in a bit.

Food shop coming at lunch so need to get that away.

Making spaghetti meatballs for dinner.

Then just getting ready for the week making sure all uniform away, shoes ready, bags packed etc.

Hopefully a bit of time in the garden this afternoon aswell.

Then my Sunday ritual of gin, bath with kindle to read, and an early bed!

All in all a lovely cosy Sunday just how we like it!

I've been laid out, in my pillow and blaket fort, for the past three days, with some sort of vomiting bug I probably picked up at work 🤢

Feel brighter today but my gut is making some odd gurgling sounds 🤔

I'm going to very slowly potter and try to eat something as I've no energy atm.

The girls want to go to Lidl 🤷‍♀️so I'll give them my card & wonder what randomness they'll bring back.

Definitely early showers and bed for everyone tonight.

I might attempt a bit of crochet before that though, since my attention span has returned & I'm no longer up-chucking all the time 🧶

Oh I love the idea of 'treat tea' @tworedtomatoes. How does it work - would you not end up having to cook 4 different meals? Please explain

I am having a lazy day as I have a cold.
I heard adult DD2 come in at 2.30am as she had been into town with her sister and a group of friends. Then DH woke me up at about 5.30am as he was getting ready for work.
I have emptied the washer and put anther wash on, tidied up a bit and now sat drinking coffee with my cat sat next to me.
if I can summon up the energy I do need to go out to M&S later to buy a present for my Aunty. I also need to get a card and sort out flowers or a plant for my mum for Mother’s Day.
I think both DDs and their boyfriends are coming for food later but I am just doing a chicken casserole with Yorkshire puddings (DD2’s favourite) so that’s easy.

Lounging around having tea brought to me and having some joints.
Horrendous period pain for second day now, radiating into my legs, cant stand up straight, ruined all my weekend plans.
Back to work tomorrow so it needs to sort itself out.

Vinyl night at my local, take your own and spin em, the highlight of my week! Plus the small matter of a peanut butter stout, but £5.30 a pint, oh dear. A fiver is my red line.

Up at 6 with the kids, just had sausages and beans and back into bed, 1yo DD is napping and I am regretting eating the sausages as my gallbladder is grumbling.

Going to visit family in a couple of hours and then back home for a lazy afternoon probably as it's too cold and wet for any nice walks or park trips.

Nothing, was in a&e with ds2 till 3am my brain is so tired luckily ds2 is okay but I'm struggling to engage my brain today so lazy day with some films I think and quiche for dinner.

We would usually be up early to take ds to his football match but he hasn't got one today so there was no alarm set and a nice lie in for a change.

I am at the minute totally procrastinating because I need to give the house a good clean and tidy because I totally let it all slip this week and it looks like a dump 😭
Tesco delivery will be here soon and I think I'll make cottage pie for tea because dd requested it because we haven't had it for a while.

Today is the last day of my holiday, back to work tomorrow 😪 I have a massage booked this afternoon which I'm really looking forward to. I have one every month after my car accident 7 months ago. Then it will be home, pj's and chilling for the rest of the day. Probably read my book or my magazine and watch TV. Possibly a glass of wine but will more than likely be decaff tea 🍵

@MeinKraft I'm ok, thank you. Just very "off - it" for me. Hopefully a fairly lazy day & nibbling my way through whatever food talks to me will help 🙂

My friend is going to let me have a go at driving his car in some empty carpark this afternoon because I really need to learn to drive now so planning on starting lessons soon.

Apart from that, not much, just a lazy Sunday, will watch TV with DD when she gets back from ju-jutsu.

Homework & housework, games, Mac & cheese later for the DC and then roast for us (our favourite but they hate it). Peaceful day, I’m happy ☺️

I've hurt my leg and DP has strained his ankle so options are limited! I've done the housework and some washing, cleared some clothes out to donate to charity and will probably have breakfast in a bit.

Cleaning. All fucking day. Need to do a charity shop drop off and get dinner. How I’d love to be pottering around a garden centre or art gallery…those who are please make the most of it and enjoy it that little bit more for me!

Church, home for lunch plus old episode of Taskmaster with teen DS, big walk this afternoon to up my steps, oh and lots of washing bc it's finally a good drying day!

Housework in a bit. Not much about 1/2 hiur worth . Then out for Sunday lunch at the pub . Them getting ready for work tomorrow, lunches , uniform etc

Got all housework done yesterday so house is sparkling.
This morning going out with dd to practise her driving then will probably go for a walk, at 2pm myself & ds will watch footie (come on you gunners!!!) and then in the afternoon I think I'll declutter the utility room (the only room not sparking hahaha).

Decorating. I HATE decorating, but i need to paint an entire house before new carpets and flooring go down this week. So far ive done the living room which i LOVE how its turned out, the two children's rooms, which they are very happy with, half done mine which im hoping will look better once the carpets and furniture are in, so im finishing that today. Then i have the kitchen and bathroom to do. The hall stairs and landing is going to need a professional so they will have to wait.

I was up at 06.30 to let the dog out. Then went back to bed to be bombarded by a stream of questions from DS2. Having a cup of tea in peace now. DH has gone to football and won't be back until lunchtime.

DS2 has a party this afternoon so I am taking him to that and need to pop out and get some milk too. DS1 is gaming, he got a couple of new games for his birthday recently and today is the first proper chance he's had to play on them.

Need to pop over and see my parents after DS2's party, will probably take him with me. Not sure what's for lunch or dinner yet.

Need to get on with some washing and housework this morning. Just need to finish my tea and get up from the sofa!

DC are currently on their devices but I'm going to get them off shortly to do homework. I need to sort out DS's room. DH is decorating the living room. This afternoon we're going to watch an orchestral concert that a couple of our friends are performing in.
