Snow Day!!!

I've crept out of bed like a child at Christmas to check on the snow situ...

Can confirm snowing in Hampshire at 3am!

Crap photos due to the dark obvs.

West Cornwall - just rain (and v welcome it is too), but we had a few inches randomly back in mid Jan when nobody else north and east of Liskeard had any!

Secondary school closed in Surrey and remote learning. Frustrating as DS was due in for mocks, although he's clearly delighted.

Yep snow here in se London too, I was meant to be going to the city today but given how shit southeastern are at the best of times I'm knocking that on the head.

My kids likely will get a snow day as their site is multi level linked little hills / bridges / steps which are always deemed too dangerous once any more than a dusting of snow

I'm Southeastern trains too, and my service is running into Victoria. The Cannon Street trains seem to be okay, too.

@MrMarkham a lot of staff live in the valleys where they've had considerably more snow. School have said they're open (for now), but offering breakfast club or lunches and may have to close early.

Our school in Merthyr is closed! I live further south so am not affected so much.

Lots here, rural west Kent. We live on a very steep hillside so there’s no way we’ll be attempting to drive anywhere until it clears a bit. Given how ‘normal’ the weather was yesterday I was really quite shocked when I opened the blinds this morning and saw deep snow!

We have snow on the beach! Next doors kids are so excited, we so rarely get snow. Not enough to build a snowman but it looks pretty. Road is already clear

Devon/Somerset border here - had a few a few cms. School is open but told not to rush, no late marks as it's a tiny village school down country lanes.
