Can confirm snowing in Hampshire at 3am!

East Mids and not even a frost

@MrMarkham a lot of staff live in the valleys where they've had considerably more snow. School have said they're open (for now), but offering breakfast club or lunches and may have to close early.

West Yorkshire. None here yet, it is forecast to start tomorrow morning and snow for 24 hours. I’ve checked met office this morning and it’s saying snow on and off from 1pm until Friday night …

Yes I was really surprised when I woke up this morning, no snow and no frost.

Couple of inches in Berkshire today but main roads look clear just side roads and pavements more tricky

Deep snow here in Kent (between Maidstone and Ashford) - glad it's my day off but I've got plans for this afternoon so 🤞it's not too tricky on the roads!

snow in E London, not settled quite but big snowflakes! So wonder how it will be by noon.

Snow in N Somerset ( Mendips so 200m asl ) and we've got quite a bit.

A couple of inches of snow in Hampshire, and still falling. The school bus is cancelled. Only the main roads have been gritted.

Another Swansea person saying it’s the most snow I’ve seen in years here. Youngest is super excited -don’t think he’s had a snow day ever. I’m just glad I’m on annual leave and haven’t got to try and walk to work. Work in hospital eight miles to my usual site but only two to the closest

Snow in south London...public transport all running as normal, which surprised me!
But there's not much on the roads actually.

Only a tiny bit of snow in Sussex, think it will melt soon.

Also in rural West Berkshire with a good 4 inches of snow on the ground.

There's quite a lot of snow in South London/Surrey. I'm not a snow fan at the best of times, especially as we live at the top of a hill and a have a very sloped driveway. But it looks like we won't be able to get to DD's long awaited hospital appointment today which is very upsetting. Also my tesco order will probably be cancelled 😩
