You get one hour in a room with a person of your choice. Who do you choose and what do you do?

This is a scenario I think of sometimes: you get one hour in a sealed room with a person of your choice. You can do anything you want for that time and neither of you can ever disclose what you did/spoke about to anyone else.

Who do you take and how do you spend the time? I can't quite decide - I'm guessing a lot of people might use it as a hall pass or to confront someone they've always wanted to confront, though I suppose it could get a bit tense to do the latter!

Jack Lowden, and I’d be banned for outraging public decency if I said what I’d do.

Breezycheesetrees · 01/03/2023 10:52

James Norton and I'm not telling you 😜

Namechangedforthisonetoday · 01/03/2023 10:52

Jack O’Connell if Jack No.1 was unavailable.

Eranzer · 01/03/2023 10:52

Tough one.

Probably Manu Bennett, what I'd do is also unspeakable.

Oooo good one! For me though, it’s James Norton as TLR. Yes I know I’m going to hell. It’s the accent and series 1 hair 😬

Ha! No I totally get where you're coming from. I'm going for a drunk, collar-off Sidney Chambers myself.

I would choose my late husband - and I would lie on the bed with him - with our limbs completely wrapped up together - and I would just talk - I would like to feel his body and breath against mine one more time - that would be my hour

FrenchandSaunders · 01/03/2023 11:05

Tom Davis .... we would just laugh for an hour

ifonly4 · 01/03/2023 11:06

I'd choose my DH. It'd be nice to have a paper, a drink and talk complete rubbish (he's good at that😂). Happily swap that for a meal together, watching tv or playing a game - just know it's him I'd choose.

Mochatatts · 01/03/2023 11:08

My late grandma so we could talk about all the things she's missed and I could get some more of her amazing advice. Or just sit with a brew and watch TV. I do miss her x

CosyCoffee · 01/03/2023 11:10

I would choose my dh too. I enjoy his company more than that of anyone else. I'd be happy to talk, have sex, or just sit in companionable silence.

My grandma. So that I could give her the last hug that she never got from anyone.

MsSquiz · 01/03/2023 11:10

My DM. And I would ask her all the questions I never got to ask her about her life and mine.

She died when I was 30 and before I was married or had children so there is lots I'd like to know if my girls are similar to how I was as a baby or child

AllWorkYoPlait · 01/03/2023 11:11

An hour with someone extremely rich, so I can watch them transfer me all their funds.

fatbottomgirl67 · 01/03/2023 11:13

My sister. She died a few years ago. I miss her and would love the chance to catch up and to be able to say goodbye

katseyes7 · 01/03/2023 11:15

The love of my life. I lost him 30 years ago next month and l still miss him so much.

NoSquirrels · 01/03/2023 11:17

One more hour with my mum, please. It’s her birthday soon, and I’d love to sit on the sofa at her house one last time, drink a cup of tea together, and rest my head against her.

asplashofmilk · 01/03/2023 11:17

My serious answer is the same as @iwantavuvezela . I'd want my late partner to see our daughter, how she's grown, how like him she is. How proud he'd be of her. I'd love her to have a real memory of him.

My more light hearted answer is nicolas cage because I'm just a bit obsessed and intrigued 😁

This thread is an unsettling combination of beautifully poignant and shamelessly pervy.

Kittylickingplate · 01/03/2023 11:21

Pervy answer, Tim Minchin and none of your business.

Genuine, my Mum. I want to brush her hair one more time. Now I am crying.

AreYouShittingMe · 01/03/2023 11:27

My dad's dad. I'd ask him why he walked out on his wife and so . Why he tried to make contact all those years later and how he felt when my dad refused. Also, how did he feel about his grandkids not knowing of his existence until adulthood.
I'd also let him know how his actions impacted on my dad, the hurt it caused but how my dad was a great dad despite this.

bloodywhitecat · 01/03/2023 11:29

My husband, I would ask him if I did OK then I would just want to lie with him and talk about anything.

My mum. I'd give anything for one more hug. I'd apologise for not being strong enough to be there on the last day. I'd show her pictures of her grandchildren and ask her to write them a letter each for their 18th birthday boxes.
