This is a scenario I think of sometimes: you get one hour in a sealed room with a person of your choice. You can do anything you want for that time and neither of you can ever disclose what you did/spoke about to anyone else.

Who do you take and how do you spend the time? I can't quite decide - I'm guessing a lot of people might use it as a hall pass or to confront someone they've always wanted to confront, though I suppose it could get a bit tense to do the latter!

My dad. He died when I was a kid. I'd ask him if he had seen all the things that have happened over the years, if he was proud of me, if he watched over his grandson etc. The hardest part would be saying goodbye again after the hour was up.

I'd say my mum, too. I have a lot of questions about things that happened in the past and just general things like where did she put the deeds to her house??? That was a ball ache to sort out after she died.

Indeed, my first thought was that if dead people are allowed it would be my Dad.

My late Mum. How I’d love to tell her about my kids and my husband and my niece and nephew and my lovely SIL and mine and DBro’s lives generally.

Before she died she wrote me a letter saying how upset she was that she wouldn’t be around for my teenage years, so I’d like to tell her about those too and that even though parts were a massive shit show it all ended okay. I think we could have a good laugh about it actually.

(I have a pervy answer BUT what if the person you’d been perving on turned out to be a massive dick?! Could be the most disappointing hour ever.)
