Cleaning husband's ears with cotton buds.

When speaking to a friend the other day, I somehow happened to mention that I clean my husband's ears out with cotton buds every few days.

I've never really thought anything of this but she seemed to think this was really odd and something she would never do in a million years!

Now I'm starting to wonder if this, is indeed odd and something that people don't do!

It's been part of our relationship/marriage for years! 😂

We don’t do this (and I assume you know that you’re not meant to stick cotton buds in the ear… but everyone does!). However I do take great satisfaction in looking for and squeezing any blackheads on my husbands’ back. I think of it as monkey grooming

No he doesn't because I like to do my own.

I love doing this and do this to my DP!! It's so satisfying, I make sure to not push it down too far and am really careful but he lets me do it as I find that , and squeezing any back spots, really fun 🤣

I don't clean his ears but I trim his ear hair, nostril hair and eyebrows! Ha

I don't do that, but I do peel the psoriasis plaque that forms all over the inside of his ear canal. I know, I know, you're not supposed to put anything in ears, let alone tweezers, and you're not supposed to peel psoriasis plaques. But the itching drives him nuts, the approved treatments are crap, and managing to peel a big sheet of the bastard stuff off and out in one piece is one of the most deeply satisfying things you can do with a bright light and a pair of slim tweezers.

Never put something smaller than your elbow into your ear is the advice I got at medical school

I clean my OH's out with my camera ear tool 🤣 which was great until I removed too much wax and he got an infection as we were doing it every other day, I also cut his toenails and pluck his eyebrows. I enjoy it as I love that kind of thing and picking spots 🤣
