Chippy tea- what's your order?

I'm heading to the chippy for tea for me and the kids tonight, what would you like and I'll add it onto my order?

Haddock & chips & mushy peas & scraps. Tell them to do plenty of salt & vinegar but I know it won't be enough so I'll add more at home.

I had F&C on Sunday which was great but in Kent so no scraps - they never know what they are when I ask outside the North so I've given up trying, interested that one poster said you can get them, maybe I'll try again. I once asked in North Yorkshire and got a massive bag of them, what a great day.

So many posters saying "fish" rather than a particular species !
I'd go for skate or rock salmon, & a wally.
I'd love proper chips, they always seem to be soggy from chippies.

I'm in west central Scotland, we only have haddock as our choice in the chippy

How far north? If I was in the area I grew up in: steak and kidney pudding, chips, mushy peas and gravy.

Here: a sad, disappointing fishcake, chips and curry sauce. Southerners don't understand proper chippy food Sad

Park road fish bar in Hythe used to do scraps if you're anywhere near there.

Small cod and share a portion of chips. I'll have mushy peas because I feel obligated to have a vegetable but I don't really like them. I'd like astonishing quantities of vinegar and artery hardening quantities of salt.
