Sad he has gone. What was your favourite song of his? So many wonderful songs, but my favourite has to be "Any Day Now".

Apparently he co-wrote Arthur's Theme so I'll go with that. Huge body of work to choose from though, what a talented man.

Nooooooooo Sad I’m a huge fan as my DF is a huge fan so grew up listening to him. So hard to pick one favourite but Make it easy on yourself is probably what I would say if pushed to choose one… RIP maestro 💔

so many great songs. I didn't realise he had written Three Wheels on my Wagon. They used to play that song on Saturday morning radio in Ireland when I was a kid and I thought it was the funniest thing.

Oh, I didn't know he'd died. I love him.

I love this Beth Rowley version of 24 Hours From Tulsa with Bacharach playing piano. It's so sweet when he gets really into the rhythm at the end.

I love a good Burt Bacharach song - what a fantastic life.

My favourite has got to be Close to You, with Karen Carpenter’s voice and that song - doesn’t get much better imho.

His songs/music appealed to so many people of different ages/eras.
