4.5 , I cannot bare weight on me. I'm very restless, wouldn't be able to move in a heavier one.

HippeePrincess · 20/01/2023 16:35

Around 4 tog, I don’t believe it’s that low as we’re plenty warm enough. When it was really cold last winter we put the 7.5tog on and lasted a week before we were sweating buckets.

MyGirlDaisy · 20/01/2023 16:37

4.5 tog - DH complains he is freezing but I am always too hot

2 x 16.5 tog on each bed. Plus hot water bottles as requested. Scottish Highlands!

Yarrawonga · 20/01/2023 16:54

A 9 and a 4.5. My husband sometimes has a blanket as well.

PurpleFresias · 20/01/2023 16:56

13.5 tog duvet plus whatever a large retriever is equivalent to ;)

Girlintheframe · 20/01/2023 17:00

13.5, occasionally have the blanket on top too

usernotfound0000 · 20/01/2023 17:02
  1. Occasionally need socks for the first half hour but then then too warm quite quickly.
Caramelsmadfuzzytail · 20/01/2023 17:05

10.5 I think, plus toastie blanket and a home knitted one.

MsNightingale · 20/01/2023 17:07

Two 4.5 tog duvets, one on top of the other. Plus a blanket on top.

And a cat

Holdmycoat · 20/01/2023 17:08

13.5 tog, a teddy Shirpa mattress protector and a fleece lined duvet cover.

Babdoc · 20/01/2023 17:14

13.5 tog. Perthshire.
Minus 4C at night here, and six feet of snow just to the north of us.

Laquila · 20/01/2023 17:14

Good grief! We have a 4.5 at the moment - we went up to 10 but had to take it off, it was too bloody hot. Our bedroom is small and well-insulated though, and my husband is hotter than the surface of the sun.

4.5 tog and the window's open. It's my age!

Ditto. Bonus of the menopause, lower heating bills!

Artus · 20/01/2023 17:26

10.5 but I'm often too hot. No heating on overnight.

fairtrauchled · 20/01/2023 17:34

4.5 tog with a brushed cotton bottom sheet.

Anotheanon · 20/01/2023 17:35

4.5

Tomanyhandbags · 20/01/2023 17:40

No duvet only the cotton cover and like Marilyn Monroe only wear a smile in bed. I am so lucky my house is so well insulated I can't remember the last time I put the heating on.

NewNameForXmas · 20/01/2023 17:42

10 plus a blanket. I also have a pillow beside me to half lie on and it seems to work a bit like a hot water bottle once I've warmed it up.

DappledThings · 20/01/2023 17:43

Only own a 10.5 one. So depending on the time of year I either throw it off entirely, half it over me, totally over or with the addition of a wool blanket too. Much easier to adjust than getting an actual different one out of the loft.

Handoverthechocollate · 20/01/2023 17:44

10 plus the occasional hot water bottle!

RaininSummer · 20/01/2023 17:45

13.5 plus a crochet blanket and a weighted blanket. Also hot water bottle.

pointythings · 20/01/2023 17:46

10.5 and window open a crack. I run quite hot.

Lurkinginthemnshadows · 20/01/2023 17:47

A summer tog rated one because we always put ourselves last and haven't had chance to sort it. The kids have lovely thick duvets and the one in the coldest room has a thick faux fur double thickness blanket as well. This has reminded me to get my backside into gear and sort it out. I'm using DH as a hot water bottle but don't feel so bad as he does the same to me. It's the unforgiving duvet waft I can't stand, cold air rushing in brrrrrrrrrrr.
