I'd live there. I'm not quite sure what is wrong, Is it the en suite in the bedroom as that is a bit bonkers?

RoadTripsOceanDips · 19/01/2023 19:33

Was thinking what’s the OP on about? It’s a perfectly normal house. And then I got to photo 13.

NewmummyJ · 19/01/2023 19:34

I don't see what the problem is, I mean who doesn't want to lie in bed watching their parntner have a poo? Otherwise such a lovely house...

Twospaniels · 19/01/2023 19:35

Hate how open it is at the front, I like walls or borders or something

hate the ensuite in the bedroom

hate how overlooked it is at the back

apart from those 3 things, it is a nice house and it is nicely decorated.

if you want an estate house then it is ok

Gloriousgardener11 · 19/01/2023 19:36

OMG that en-suite- what was the thinking ?

averylongtimeago · 19/01/2023 19:38

Nothing like a ringside view..

Veryverycalmnow · 19/01/2023 19:38

Soaking my cares awayGrin

NoFlashingLightsPlease · 19/01/2023 19:38

I saw the shower first & thought “oh, if you’re not careful the duvet could end up getting wet, how strange”. Then I saw the loo. Words fail me.

SnowAndFrostOutside · 19/01/2023 19:38

It’s totally normal new estate house until you get to the master bedroom. What are these people thinking?

4thonthe4th · 19/01/2023 19:39

WHAT IS HANGING IN THE KITCHEN 😳😳😳

And are those eyeballs on the fireplace?

Whyjustwhy123 · 19/01/2023 19:39

Totally fine, and then wham mental image of watching someone have a poo. Confused

VerityUnreasonble · 19/01/2023 19:39

Sometimes when my ddog wees in the garden he stares at me while he does it, it's pretty uncomfortable.

I'm trying to imagine my DH doing that in the bedroom (en) suite. It is no less uncomfortable.

gravyriceandchips · 19/01/2023 19:41

I reckon you could put a door there. It would cover up a bit of modesty

Findyourneutralspace · 19/01/2023 19:44

I can’t decide if you’d be shitting in the bedroom or sleeping in the bathroom

TellMeTheTruthTheWholeTruth · 19/01/2023 19:50

Here's another. Check out picture 12.

The loo is right at the top of the stairs!!!

Yeah - not sure it would be that difficult at all .

Isn't it a new fashion in hotel rooms too?

I certainly wouldn't want to be in a bedroom with an open bathroom but in a house you were buying it would be quite easy to block this into a separate room .

I like the rest of the house .

I don't think there's a loo in this entire house that doesn't have an audience view...

Livedandlearned · 19/01/2023 19:59

That house is by me, was pretty shocked when I clicked on the link

PassAnotherJumper · 19/01/2023 20:03

Even if I lived alone without any other humans, I wouldn't want this.

I can just imagine the dogs face when I start pooing in the corner of the room yet don't like it when he does the same!

Exdpisatwat · 19/01/2023 20:06

What is that contraption above the washing machine in pic 12? I've seen that in someone else's house and so curious what it is!

Hahaha yep 👍🏻

Anotheanon · 19/01/2023 20:19

@Exdpisatwat it’s a beer pouring thingy.

My dh has the perfect draft one.

canyoutellemehowtoget · 19/01/2023 20:19

Lol.

This has reminded me of how my friend's house growing up had a toilet at the top of the stairs, coming off a communal seating area.

The toilet just randomly had no door.

Her parents had built the house so I've never been completely sure why they were capable of building an entire four bedroom house which doors to every room, but stopped short of putting a door on the toilet.

When they were teens the hung up a kind of batique sarong thing to cover the door.

But obviously it did nothing to block out the sounds. Or the smell.

😐

LunchBoxPolice · 19/01/2023 20:22

Hah that’s weird. I live down the road and haven’t seen any other houses here like that.

That is a beautiful house but why have the loo facing the bed like that in the master bedroom!
