What can I do with my living room (pic)

I have made a start on my living room . I can't paint or wallpaper at the moment. I was thinking I could put something on the walls with command strips/simlar. Some sort of canvas /wall art. I don't know what though 😕.

I like how clean and spacious it is,and the blue drawers are nice.

So I will throw my tuppence into the ring I think one of the biggest issues is needing the TV area sorted out a little. Would it be possible to have a 'handy person' or a joiner build a unit below the TV? I am thinking a kind of fireplace/cupboard type 'thing' which would hide the cables etc. It would also create a focal point in the room.
I think I would possibly have your 2 sofas facing each other with a rug in the channel between them. The storage box/type unit you have underneath TV might serve as a coffee table between both sofas? At least for now.
I am sure in your own time you will add plants and accessories.
