First weekend in forever that we have had no plans.
DH is working so just me and the DC. Took them to football training this morning and back for lunch. Pottering around the house doing some washing/ food prep. Plans to bake cookies with the kids in a bit.
Maybe watch a film later.

A very lazy day here.

DD1 is downstairs on the iPad and DD2 is reading in bed. I'm in bed with Happy Valley on iPlayer and DH is working.

A blissful nothing day which is rare now.

DD1 special weekend with grandparents (she's ND so get respite sometimes bless them), met half way and did a walk. dd2 watching paw patrol while I snooze, and DH destroying DD1's wall while trying to put up curtains. DD2's choices this weekend so not sure what the plan is

Husband has gone to his mums and is then going to my sisters to do some jobs with her
Daughter is still upstairs
Im watching cricket on Sky with the dog . The dog is currently seriously ill and can’t be left alone so it’s a good excuse to not actually do anything .

Ds4 is happily playing with various playmobil sets after a tactical morning 2 hour soft play session which means DH & I can watch the football in peace

Park visit later which I'm hoping means an early night so we can have Chinese and wine

Watching Tangled with wee ones, cold, wet and windy here so have the fire on and plan is to make crumpets soon to toast on it.

Dh is taking eldest for a driving lesson and visiting pil on the way. Ds2 is hopefully doing his homework. I’m about to rehang two pairs of curtains and make a Roman blind. Then I’m putting a draught excluder strip on the back door.

Rainy day here so DD and I run to the shop in between showers for ingredients for cakes, now we’ve eaten lunch and I’m hoping DD will have a nap so I can have a lie down and watch a bit of TV for half hour. Then we’ll bake cakes before DH gets home from work

Everybody is out and I'm cleaning the house.

A drink or two later when this is all done.

DS2 was at swim training at 6am this morning so is now playing on his xbox until I can persuade him to do some homework. DS1 woke up at 1 had a shower and has now gone to watch the football with his friends. DH did the supermarket shop this morning and made lunch so is now watching TV with his eyes shut. I'm trying to build up enough courage to go to my hair appointment, I have social anxiety and tend to cancel things the closer they get. I am tying very hard not to cancel this as it is desperately needed.

Wet and windy here.
I slept in until 11 this morning after a tough week at work. DH did the shopping while I was sleeping and cooked lunch (roast chicken).
DS1 has gone to the indoor climbing place, DS2 has gone into town with his mates. DH is downstairs watching TV and I'm up here on MN, putting off the housework that needs to be done.
Will probably have pizza for dinner and maybe play a board game we got from friends for Xmas this evening.

DH is preparing the meat for our dinner tonight. DS1 is back in bed after working early this morning, DS2 is gaming have been for a long overdue hair cut (thank god). DS3 is binge watching The Simpsons in his room and DD is playing on her iPad after reading an entire book this morning!

Dh and teen boys have gone to watch a football match. Uni student dd submitted her last pieces of assessed work yesterday, and is now bumbling about in pjs, playing childhood games on the Wii and mumbling about a piece of creative writing she wants to do for herself. Nice to see her chilled after the past stressful week. I'm trying to decide whether to bake first and then get dressed, or dress first and then bake.

I'm watching Gojetters with 4 year old DD, ever just had lunch and there's a roast vegetable lasagna in the oven. When that's done (it's for the week ahead) we're going to the allotment to tidy up after the bad winds we've had.

DH is watching footie while trying to calm down DCat.

DCat is shouting at the stairs. He has taken to telling them off very loudly several times a day. He is old.

DS2 is in the kitchen eating soup, listening to music and writing an essay.

I am doing some work for a meeting this afternoon. Except I accidentally landed on MN.

DS1 went back to uni yesterday but his presence is known by the number of things he strewed everywhere which he's forgotten to take including stuff I got him for Christmas because he really needed it at uni. AFAIK he is sleeping off the effects of a party he went to last night. Start as you mean to go on.

I’m half-watching a programme about the Galápagos Islands, DH is half asleep and DDog is snoozing.
I have changed the bed, done 3 loads of laundry, cooked spaghetti bog for lunch, cleaned through the house and that’s it for me. DH will walk DDog later.
I really need to crack on with some knitting but cba 😊

I’ve just sorted out my section of the garage , his section is absolute carnage but he keeps procrastinating by targeting my area as needing sorted so I’ve done it and he is sat watching footie ! I am my going to cordon off my area with police tape now and ensure he doesn’t put a single item on the floor in front

DH just back from work. One DC is out playing with a friend. I've just cleaned the loo (was horrified to see the state of it and noticed is has multiple cracks and it's not even that old) and sitting down for a min (or five 😂). I'm going to household waste next. Lots of washing to catch up on (DH good with sharing it, I refuse to say he's "helping") and I've got some studying to do later. I'm planning on having a bath with my favourite music before bed.

I’ve cleaned (ready for it to be a tip again when my DD gets home🙄) then I had soup & choc & now I’m sat on sofa with my dog on my knee, with the cat sat staring at the dog trying to get him to get off so you can get on!

DD will be back after tea so we’ll watch Sung 2 while eating Pringles!

We’ve just finished spring cleaning the bedrooms, windows done, curtains and beds all changed, everything moved to hoover and mop under, skirtings done and a load of clutter to go to the clothing bank/tip. We’re just having baked potatoes, salad and cheese for lunch then we’ll head to the tip. We’re off out tonight with friends for tapas.

My youngest has strep a so shes on her ipad in bed, my boys are gaming and I'm laid on the sofa enjoying the peace. My eldest is going to a sleepover later so just me and the younger 2, something quick and easy for tea and a movie night I think for us!

You’ve just reminded me to get on with repairing DDs school bag that broke - sewing kit out while the biscuits cool

And now I can sit down for that beer or 3. House clean, apart from 15 and 20 year olds bedrooms. Can't face those rooms!!!

I'm in bed with a cat and really painful kidneys. DH is just back from the gym and downstairs making some late lunch. We have all the animals to sort out and then we're meant to be going out for dinner this evening. I really want to just curl up and stay home but if we cancel now we'll get charged. I'm sure it'll be lovely once we're there...

That is excellent organisation. The photos are hilarious. You will need to guard it with your life.
