What’s going on in your house?

First weekend in forever that we have had no plans.
DH is working so just me and the DC. Took them to football training this morning and back for lunch. Pottering around the house doing some washing/ food prep. Plans to bake cookies with the kids in a bit.
Maybe watch a film later.
What’s happening in your house?

I'm a bit bored today. Been on two nice walks with the dog and made cheese scones for the family but not had any myself as i'm trying to lose half a stone so that was hard to resist. Kids have been playing with their friends all day so not wanted to do anything with me or DH. I'm going out with friends to an Italian restaurant tonight though so looking forward to that. I've nominated myself designated driver so I don't drink (trying to cut down on booze as well).
Tomorrow will be better, sea swim then the swimming baths with DC and cinema in the evening to watch Empire of Light.
