Yes, absolutely!!! As others have said, I'm jealous that you get to watch it for the first time. It's an amazing piece of television that has aged well. It's brilliant, funny and well written. I've probably watched it about 15 times...

Oh my word, YES. I must have watched the entire thing about six times now? Most recently when on mat leave last year. I especially love the first four seasons.

If you get into it, there's also a podcast called The West Wing Weekly which dissects each episode week by week.

Another one jealous of a first-timer who gets to experience all that ‘Walk with me’-ing. And Toby, on whose intensely ethical grumpiness I have a giant crush.

It's a bit earnest at times (US presidency after all) but the writing is brilliant.

the cast is utterly fantastic- Martin Sheen, rob Lowe, stockard Channing in particular.

the storylines seem a bit meh, unless I’m missing something. Just stuff that goes on in the White House day to day.

i’ve stuck with it and am on season 2 now, but I’m not gripped. I’ll watch a bit now and then when I can’t find anything else.

Best series ever (although not as good in later seasons after Aaron Sorkin left - but still very strong). I loved ER but it blows it out of the water. It blows everything out of the water!!

Currently watching for the first time. Up to series 6 and it's dropped off a little but I soldier on 'til the end.

I tried watching it on e4 a few years ago but couldn't get into it. Last year I watched it on frevee (shorter adds was just a bonus) and was hooked. Definitely persevere lots of characters to get to know but was definitely worth it.
