Because they're too stupid to imagine what having a terminal illness is like. They're also arrogant and lack any empathy.

It's almost as though the wrong people are in parliament 🤷

Getting on in years, living alone, intensely private, don't want to be faced with spending the last days/weeks/months of their lives having their arses wiped by strangers.

I don't have a terminal illness but it could happen to any one of us at any time.
