What else can I put on my crumpets apart from golden syrup? The kids have Nutella but I'm not a fan.

A 4oz burger and a cheese slice then back under to grill to melt the cheese

Just butter, butter and Marmite or butter and honey for me. Or occasionally cheese and then popped under the grill.

Lemon curd might be nice if you have a sweet tooth though?

Butter and Bovril. Or jam. I mean just about anything you would put on toast. Never had golden syrup though - too sickly sweet!

Dry fry blueberries and raspberries in cinnamon powder till falling apart- dollop on crumpets with a large blob of thick fat free Greek yoghurt on top (courtesy of hairy bikers diet book ). It's delicious
