Crumpets!

What else can I put on my crumpets apart from golden syrup? The kids have Nutella but I'm not a fan.

Very well toasted so they are crispy on top then lots of salted butter. I also like them with toasted cheese. Very occasionally strawberry jam

Butter lots of it! Marmite and butter or dairylea sometimes with butter as well. Not a sweet crumpet fan dariylea is better than you think

Just loads of butter for me. You’ve just reminded me I forgot to get some from the supermarket today, and now I want crumpets.

If you have to, Marmite. But you don't have to.

The butter should be so if you press the crumpet with a knife, melted butter flows out. You have to eat it over a plate.

I saw 2 chubby cubs dunk them in beaten egg and fry them, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar (sort of like french toast)- I haven’t tried but 🤤
