Yay my Evri parcel has been sent back to sender. Why the fuck can't it be sent to me?!!

I got a delivery notification on Amazon which said that my parcel was handed to Reception and that it was signed for by 'Door'. 😁
It was outside my door. We do not have a receptionist and my door is clearly more intelligent than I originally thought it to be.

Would it be too soon to enrol my Front door in English Lit? It plays dumb most of the time. It's a fire door, so it's many attempts to trap me in it are probably as a result of it being bored. It's gifted and talented and is not the fucking belligerent arsehole that I once thought it was.

Our ddog signed for an Amazon parcel once, which is particularly impressive as he only speaks Romanian.

Ddog would get on well with DDoor. They share stories about how we underestimate them. 😆

Evri have had a parcel
of mine for over a week- it’s being delivered to my workplace cause the couriers have always delivered during working hours! However for some reason they keep trying to deliver at 7,8 or 9pm!! They say they only try three times but I’m on attempt 5. I don’t believe he’s even trying tbh especially as the delivery windows are always either 1330-1530 or 1430-1630! Have waited there until after 1800 hrs three times now 😡

Consider employing a door who knows how to sign its name. Or a dog which speaks Romanian lol.

I think my door is actually a spy. It managed to pass itself off as a Receptionist to the driver too. Serious skills there, but coming from such an intelligent household, it's to be expected.

Amazon are supposed to put timed deliveries in bags in the right time order. Business and school drops are supposed to be done before 3pm, even if you have to go out of your way and then back to your main route.

You'll get, say 9 bags (as well as loose parcels) which are different colours and with an alphanumeric code, such as A1, A2, B3, D6 etc. You'll see that on white stickers, on Amazon parcels. You had 8 minutes to load at the depot and it was forbidden to check your route until immediately before loading.

You needed to write the alphanumerics in reverse order and load the "first" one at the back of the van and the "last" at the front etc.

The number of times I'd end up at a school, or a doctor's surgery at 7pm was ridiculous.

I ordered from Blacks on Thursday, standard delivery. It was delivered by Evri today.

I did pay extra for delivery of an item from Asda and that now says it will be 10-14 days due to Royal Mail strikes so that won’t be here until after Christmas and it’s a gift.

They've had my H&M parcel since 30th November, I have no hope of getting it now do I!

I ordered an item from QVC on 2nd December. Still in an Evri depot somewhere. Doubt I'll get it for Christmas now and it was actually a gift 🙄

Oh H&M have been awful. I ordered something on 28 Nov and they couldn't care less than I still haven't received it; they've given me two dates to contact them by if still no delivery, so I contact them to be told they can't refund "yet". Getting a straight answer from them is impossible.

Evri told a company they lost my order on 2 Nov so the company refunded and it arrived on Thursday.

I still have a present to send to my Dad but we've agreed for me to send it sometime in Jan.

No idea how Evri are still in business. I have seen the Image of where my parcel has been delivered....no idea where it is, definitely not the delivery address I specified 🙄

I've had a 'we cannot access your address' and we are returning your item.
I have also had an email from ASOS saying they are going to refund me.

I only hope they do as I have reordered from another retailer.

Update! Evri delivered the parcel just now. Hope you all get what you are waiting for soon.

I’m still waiting for a present I ordered on the 1st December paid for next day delivery 🤷‍♀️

I’m going to have to go and buy it from a shop but getting the time to do it before next weekend without the kids is going to be hard plus I can’t really afford to pay twice

Similar here. Mines been stuck in the locker the seller dropped it at since 27th November. No movement at all. Ive stuck a reminder on my phone for 28th do i can deal with it.

Was for a nativity costume. Nativity was last week.

I don’t drive, so ordered a huge amount of cat food online. Instead of giving it to a neighbour like I asked, Evri took it to a post office miles away, not very easy to get to on public transport and that is only open when I am at work. I’d happily send it back and get a refund, but nope. This isn’t possible.

I want them to refund my postage so I can get an Uber to collect it, but no dice.

Our local Evri chap has just quit....luckily my bits arrived before he left...!

They are much better than the regular customer service and have sorted out several of my issues, going back to when they were hermes. The Ceo Martijn's email still has hermes in it but it works!
