Mine says today that there is a delay as they couldn’t access my address on the system for delivery? Sounds like bullshit to me!

Hi thankfully I paid thru PayPal according to my records.

I've raised a dispute thing thru their resolution centre on the order.

You have to detail each item and price!

But at least something's been sent somewhere to someone.

I'll let you know if anything gets refunded.

That's good news! PayPal have been great with me in the past.

Yes and it's not just that, they don't have enough people at the distribution centres. One not far from us has its yard full of parcels, exposed to the elements.

I don't get that but I occasionally get "We were unable to access your address" then the parcel is put on hold until I provide further instructions. The instructions I provide are "Please park outside my house and leave parcel in the enclosed porch as you've been doing for 20 years"

Arghhh this is so worrying. I am waiting for Evri to deliver my sons Christmas present.

I know a courier for another company who is so snowed under he's roped his dad in to help with the deliveries next week, totally against all company policies no doubt but I guess he's at least trying to get the parcels out there before Christmas.

I think they must be prioritising certain deliveries because I ordered from Wayfair yesterday and it's out for delivery today. I had very good service with JD Sports who send via Evri too.

I hate evri. I had a parcel out for delivery 2 days running, each time I got a text saying sorry you weren't in. I was outside cleaning the car when it was sent!
It wasn't until I changed my account to having a safe delivery space that the parcel came. I have no doubt that parcels get 'sent back to sender' but are actually stolen. This was a really big Nike order and I wish they'd sent it in a plain box.

FFS. I'm waiting to return a parcel to Regatta. I paid for it to be collected from here (Evri). The past two days they've given times for them to be here. Each day the updates say that they've attempted to collect it but that I wasn't here. I've been here all day both days. They're the most useless shower of lying bastards I've ever come across!

To make matters worse, I missed one parcel from UPS so that's gone to a UPS pick up point and I tried to get them to redeliver it as I couldn't get there. That hasn't happened. The other parcel has found its way to my old workplace lol as I stupidly didn't notice the old delivery address. FFS. I hate deliveries!!!!!!!!

I was waiting for something from evri. Look ages to come. Checked on the tracker and it said returned to sender. I contacted the seller. The company said it was damaged and they refunded my order.
Lucky it's for a small stocking filler rather than a big present as the next delivery is due 23rd of December

I've literally just now also received a parcel from Amazon. How they manage to never miss a delivery, while Evri/Hermes never manage to deliver one parcel, I'll never understand.

Our two local Evri drivers are brilliant but the system is gridlocked. One has just dragged himself back to work six days after major surgery and the other looks as if he's going to drop dead on the doorstep. They say there are thousands of parcels stacked up at the depot and not enough drivers to deal with them, because Evri treat them like crap and they leave.

Mine is a JD Sports order. They were also marked out for delivery before the dreaded "There has been a delay" message.

strangely all my evri parcels have arrived promptly, same cant be said for my shein order thats been sat waiting for royal mail to pick it up since the 24th nov and its dd2s main xmas presents. shes so fussy it was hard enough gettting her to pick those so dont have a clue what else to get instead

They had my Ted Baker parcel
stuck since 27/11. Ted Baker we’re a nightmare to get hold of but have now refunded me, said if it turns up I should consider it a present from them and keep it.

I take this to mean Evri has admitted it’s lost or
stolen.

There’s massive backlogs in Evri depots in the North East, and reports that some labels are damaged so badly that delivery’s impossible.

I hope your parcel turns up soon, but I wouldn’t count on seeing any parcel Evri might have before Christmas.

I did 6 months for them in 2020, when I couldn't do my normal work. It was for a sub-contractor. They tell you constantly that you're a delivery driver and that your job is to deliver. There wasn't a day when I didn't have at least a dozen second attempts and sometimes, third.

The amount of people who admitted to hear the doorbell, but saying that they didn't feel like answering the door used to make me very angry.

Ah well this will be where my parcel is then 🙈

Or on our case they’ll just sling it in the front garden at 10pm in the pissing rain, say it was handed to recipient and take no responsibility for damage 🤷🏻‍♀️
