When I was at primary school, I really, really wanted to be an angel in the Nativity play. I even grew my hair for two years.
I wasn't. I was given the role of "narrator" in school uniform. Waaaah. Never got over the lack of a tinselly halo!

I don't remember having a nativity play at primary school, but I'm sure I wouldn't have been chosen for an angel either (not one of the pretty girls) and would have been either the narrator (good at reading things out loud) or a sheep!
