... and so each day I'll be posting a simple picture from the Playmobil advent calendar. I haven't had time to do any complicated scenes this year so it will just be one small photo per day.

One of the lambs looks a bit anxious, hope all OK with him or her.

Most shepherds these days seem to have quad bikes. Glad to see a trad one. And I love the lambs.

@FuzzyPuffling maybe Absalom should have borrowed Michael the beach policeman's quad bike!

Something which made me laugh this morning...

Every year my sister sends ne a Jacquie Lawson online advent calendar. For those who don't know, every year there is a different theme (e.g. seaside, alpine etc). This year's is Sussex, so the scene is a generic Sussex village. Every day you click on a bauble and get either a short animated video or an interactive activity (such as decorating a wreath or dressing a snowman). Today's was one of the videos.

It was of a dog who ran into the butcher's shop and snaffled the sausages!

Ah, thanks @petalpower I've never seen it! Yes, I was very amused by the sausage-snaffling dog. Maybe the makers of the calendar had been on one of my previous threads and seen Apollo!

One of my favourite carols! The Magi have dressed up suitably ornately for the occasion.

The kings are looking very smart and I love the look on the camel’s face - very haughty!
