Does anyone like this brand? I love all the different scents. I've only recently discovered them since they appeared on the Next website but have bought from ebay too. I bought a coconut hand wash with Christmas designs on, a pumpkin one and have ordered a mini warm vanilla sugar shower gel and strawberry pound cake hand cream. Yum.

I LOVE Bath and Body Works. Discovered the place when in the states and was gutted that they didn’t sell in the UK, so was delighted when Next started selling their products and my sil no longer has to bring me stuff whenever they are back in the country. My favourite scent is A Thousand Wishes but love everything I’ve tried. Their candles are amazing as are the hand washes and body butters in particular. I use the body cream every day and always smell lovely.

Passthecheeseboard · 01/12/2022 08:59

Never heard of them… are they like an american version of the body shop?

RhubarbStrawberry · 01/12/2022 09:11

I prefer them to the body shop. There's loads of different, lovely scents and they bring in new ones regularly. They sell candles too but I've not tried them.

The pumpkin handwash I've got is marshmallow pumpkin latte. Lovely.

I absolutely love them! Was thrilled when Next started doing some bits but the range is very limited. Plus the price 😞

I know. They are the occasional luxury treat for me. I wouldn't use them all the time. There's more scents on ebay. Are they a lot cheaper in the US? I might look it up

It looks like a hand wash that costs £9.50 at Next costs 7.50 USD. = £6.18 on the US website. 🙁

I stock up when I go to the US, it's very expensive here, in the US they often have sales such as 6 hand soaps for $24. It's not high quality by any means, but they do quite unusual scents you don't usually get in the UK, especially seasonal ones.

Greenshake · 01/12/2022 10:14

@RhubarbStrawberry it’s WAY cheaper in the US. They often do ‘buy 3, get 3 free’ deals. If you are on Facebook follow their page, the deals are epic.

Can you order them from the US? I won't be going there. I can see on the US website they are doing 5 handwashes for $25. I've got enough for the time being though

I love them, my inlaws go to the US every year and always bring stuff back so I am really pleased to see it appearing on Next now!

XanaduKira · 01/12/2022 10:30

I love Bath and Body Works too - always wondered why they didn't open properly in the UK as thought they would do well here.

NellesVilla · 01/12/2022 10:34

Oh OP, I wish you hadn’t told me you could purchase via Next. That’s the budget blown!

NellesVilla · 01/12/2022 10:37

And they do the best candles. Before I got a bit nervous about candles potentially giving my dog and me breathing issues, I loved the lavender mahogany one, the vanilla peppermint one and any of the pumpkin themed ones. Delish.

Huge fan, just brought a load back from the USA. Currently in love with the Peppermint body spray and shower gel. Slightly gutted Next don't sell the pocketbacs though!

I will say, it's gone expensive in the USA. Where we stay in California there is a retail outlet that traditionally I've gone to and filled my boots with it. Body sprays were about $5 in there in the past. This time it was $16 a body spray and they only real offers were $5 body lotion.
Pocketbac was still cheap, I think 5 for $10 in there, but I was shocked at the prices of the spray, especially as my Son In Law bought me several of the Apple ones back from Canada earlier this year at $4 a bottle!

AccioChocolate · 01/12/2022 11:24

The shop gives me a headache, but I like the individual scents in small doses!

Jyn · 01/12/2022 11:25

I didn't make it clear, the retain outlet I refer to is a Cheshire Oaks type place.

I had a drawer full of pocketbac from my 2018 trip that DH teased me mercilessly for. When Covid hit and there was the initial sanitiser shortage it wiped the grin off his face 😂

I read recently that they’ve opened a branch at Bluewater! Haven’t been yet but we always visit the US in summer so I’ll be really excited to be able to get their autumn and Christmas range here.

Wow. I might have to make a pilgrimage to go and have a sniff of all the lovely scents!

I buy them in the Next sale. In the summer a lot of their stock was on sale for a third of the price.

Good idea. I don't usually bother with the next sale but will keep an eye on BBW in future.
I looked on Google maps and it looks like there's also a branch in Livingston outside Edinburgh

Thank you for the Bluewater info, will definitely be heading that way ASAP!
