Does anyone like this brand? I love all the different scents. I've only recently discovered them since they appeared on the Next website but have bought from ebay too. I bought a coconut hand wash with Christmas designs on, a pumpkin one and have ordered a mini warm vanilla sugar shower gel and strawberry pound cake hand cream. Yum.

Ah. Very few of you have mentioned which of the scents you like. I read the descriptions on the Next website and am none the wiser. Any suggestions? Thanks k

Its a bit tricky as they seem to be coming in/out of stock on Next but the 3 I've just had delivered and liked are:
Eucalyptus springs
Warm ocean breeze
Midnight snow

Sadly the Livingstone mall referred to upthread is in the US.

more locally (but not in the north) the Next at Stratton stocks B&B.

On Google maps it's showing as being inside a Next in Livingston Scotland. Could be labelled wrongly

It seems as though quite a few of the large Next stores in shopping centres have concessions in them. I was disappointed in the choice at Westfield, particularly the Christmas range. No special offers either.

Thatsasmashingblouseyouvegoton · 02/12/2022 16:44

Snowflakes and cashmere
Fireside flurries
Snowy peach Berry
Into the stars
Bonfire bash

Cookerhood · 02/12/2022 16:45

The Winter Candy Apple room spray I bought says Made in USA on it

The best way is to google the scent and the actual bath and body works description pops up then

What kind of scents do you like? I've tried a lot so might be able to recommend some!

Jyn · 02/12/2022 17:59

Nothing in the next at Cheshire oaks. I did think I was hopeful.

favourite scents for me are the cherry merlot, twisted peppermint, country apple and winter Jasmin.

in the men’s range DH loves the bourbon.

They are widely available in the UAE if you know anyone travelling to Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

I remember B&BW in the early 90s here?

Someone bought me a ginger and orange shower gel that's lovely. The other fragrances are bit much for me. They seem very strong?

I love that one too, it’s the energy candle from their aromatherapy range. It’s difficult to find over there, so probably won’t come over here. Marriott hotels used to use it as their mini toiletries- that’s what got BA crew into Bath and Bodyworks fans!

Other good ones (imo) are Black Cherry Merlot, Mahogany Teakwood (men like it), I like most pumpkin ones. Kitchen lemon is nice. Winter is a good festive one. They do one called Christmas tree that makes your room smell like you’ve a real tree, even if you don’t.

Yes and the other good thing about there is you can buy their plug in diffusers with a U.K. plug. Singapore is the same.

Wishingforwinter · 02/12/2022 18:33

I love bath and body works! I do a massive order twice a year from the US.

Only thing I will say if you order from the US, they don't ship direct to the UK so you'll need to use a forwarding company. Be prepared to remortgage your house for shipping. I usually spend around $100-150 dollars shipping between 10-15 candles and around 5 soaps. If you order anything hazmat it can only go via Fedex and costs a hell of alot more. Then you get charged 20% customs on top.

It's often cheaper to book a cheap flight for the weekend

They do have European stores which are closer if that helps but they don't sell the room sprays or wallflower plugs

Greenshake · 02/12/2022 19:26

@Honeyroar the ginger and orange products are definitely in Southampton Next 🙂

I was just looking up the Christmas tree one. Is it called Under the Christmas Tree?
I've got a woodwick balsam fir candle, but it's not that great. Does the kitchen lemon have a real lemon zesty scent rather than a cleaning product lemon scent?

OP posts:
Honeyroar · 02/12/2022 19:50

The kitchen lemon one has a nice smell. They do a lemoncino one that’s nice too. I have a feeling that the Christmas tree one might be called fresh balsam. I’ll have a look on the Facebook selling pages and see if I can see it.

Oh brilliant! I still have 2/3 of a candle left. They last me years, I find them so strong.

Honeyroar · 02/12/2022 19:58

I’m just looking what else I’ve got left. Summertime soda pop smells like pink lemonade. The cinnamon swirl one is nice, quite festive with a caramel top note. Spiced apple toddy smells like you’ve a pan of sweet mulled wine on the stove. I also have a Halloween one somewhere that is bourbon and caramel based, it’s like the cinnamon swirl one but without the cinnamon. I have Winter too, which I love as a room spray but find too strong as a candle. I use it for my outdoor coffee kiosk!

There used to be a shop in my town when I was younger. In fact I was offered a job there but took another one. Love them

Honeyroar · 02/12/2022 20:09

That’s the Xmas tree one.

I grew up in the States and BBW was the place for teen girls to spend their money. My favourite scent in the 90s was lilac. Oh how I loved that body lotion and spray. When they discontinued lilac, I must have bought 15 bottles of body lotion which lasted me years.

The big Next at Vanguard outside York has a BBW concession.

StealingYourWiFi · 02/12/2022 20:16

Bought the wall flower plug in in Dubai as they have the same plug as us. The scents are super strong!! I hope we get the plug ins here soon.

You've just made my day as I'm not too far from York! Next time the candles are reduced I'll definitely check it out.

Are you sure? I was cabin crew and the whole crew community was addicted to them, and a U.K. shop was never mentioned.

Its one of the things that I miss about being cabin crew. I used to buy loads, and all my relatives wanted that for Xmas. I buy the odd bit from Facebook selling pages nowadays.

Absolutely definitely.
Derby, Meadowhall, Nottingham for sure. The Nottm one closed so the nearest for me was the other two. My mum's US penfriend has sent us some stuff over previously so we were chuffed when they opened in the UK.
At the risk of making you all Envy I've just ordered 6 x 3 wick candles for €12.99 each which is better than half price.
Someone asked about scents: I like the Mahogany Teakwood probably best. Have also ordered Winter (same fragrance family as White Company's Winter) and some fir/balsam Christmassy ones. Oh, and a sea salty one for DD.
