Tell me your dream 3 course meal

Inspired my I’m a celeb

what would your three courses be?….

Starter - baked Camembert with red onion chutney and sour dough bread.

Main - medium rare steak, blue cheese sauce, iceberg wedge, doorstop chips, that weird and wonderful onion loaf from miller and carter, grilled tomato and mushroom.

Dessert - Creme brûlée

Drink - Malibu and pineapple juice topped with Prosecco and fresh raspberries.

Treat - Cup of tea and custard creams.

This answer changes on the reg but right now…

Pre Starter- Smoked salmon cream cheese blinis with caviar with a glass of champagne.

Then onto a bottle of Barolo

Starter: Goats cheese bathed in a filo parcel with Waldorf salad and honey dressing.

Main: my mum found a recipe for shepherds pie but made with slow cooked lamb shank and topped with cheddar mash. It’s epic and she hasn’t made it since despite many requests as she said it’s too much faff :-(
So that with Savoy cabbage and fresh crusty bread.

Dessert- Limoncello tiramisu type thing that I had on holiday.

Treats: Cheeseboard

coffee and baklava.

Baked. I don’t want my goats cheese bathed.

Cold, cold Chardonnay

We watched too and then pondered our choices.
Without being a MN undereater, I actually couldn't think of a starter because I generally would always opt for a main and dessert. Because dessert is the most important!

I'd have slow roast lamb shanks with roast potatoes and vegetables
White chocolate and passionfruit cheesecake with cream

Starter: Caesar salad

Main: fillet steak, chips, sauté onions, pepper sauce, balsamic vinegar. Side of garlic bread.

Dessert: don't have a sweet tooth, so happy to skip. Eton Mess if I had to pick.

Loads of red wine and a glass of dessert wine.

Well I couldn't actually eat this all in one meal.
Starter: pumpkin soup or onion soup
Main: Christmas dinner or my mothers chicken curry with all the extras
Dessert: Cabot's or Brighams mocha almond ice cream sundae with fudge sauce, marshmallow and nuts (Brighams closed down years and years ago, so Cabot's with suffice - it's in the US though).

Sounds perfect!

Yes we play this in work.... Mac and cheese and deep fried chicken wings would be my death row meal but fancy 3 courses?

Starters - a mixture a love starters they are my favourite but. I'd have some garlic mushrooms, maybe some baked camebert, olive's, nachos

Main - a lamb roast with proper roasties and lots of mint sauce

Dessert - either a black forest gateu or a mandarin and passion fruit cheese cake 😋😋
