I've been up since just after 7am 🙄, spent an hour scrolling mindlessly & drinking my first cuppa of the day. I've just made a fresh coffee to take up while I get dressed.

The washer's on so I can hang uniforms to dry before heading into town.

Today's Christmas shopping for the girls day, with their dad! There may be a pub lunch somewhere along the way. I just need to remember the list of things I definitely want to pick up. I'm rediculously excited 🤣 I love Christmas shopping/planning/organising!

The girls are staying here - I bought them a few treats while I was out with dd1 yesterday & they're ready for a proper moochy kind of day.

Tonight I'm going to crochet I think, or maybe catch up with Nigel Slater's Christmas Chronicles, in front of the food channel. There may be a glass of wine or two as well.

I’m off to sniffer dog training this morning then will meet DH and DC for a long walk and late pub lunch. Home to potter then we have some fancy nibbles to watch in front of a Christmas film tonight. A lovely low key family day, we’ve got a busy run up to Christmas after this weekend so I’m looking forward to a calm one!

I'm cleaning the house in preparation for MIL visiting for the weekend. She has dementia and is challenging but my SIL deserves and needs a break so DH is off collecting her.

This afternoon we are organising thr Christmas decorations and tidying thr garden a bit so they can go out this weekend. It's a bit early but MIL will get a lot of pleasure out of decorating with my DD.

This evening I'm on my work Christmas night out so also need a Christmas quiz for that!

We've pre booked a trip to a farm day out and there's a big weather front rolling in so I'm trying to find everyone's wet weather kit!

Taking DS to gymnastics in a minute. Then we're all going to Pizza Express for lunch (thanks Tesco vouchers) and then to see Matilda the musical (again, thanks Tesco vouchers). After that we're heading to a local park/home to see their Christmas lights being switched on. Home for fajitas, a fire, a wine and a bit of Strictly.

I'm still in bed, terrified to go downstairs. Yesterday, I had a crazy craft day and my kitchen doesn't have a surface or worktop free of paint or glitter. I didn't clear up because I'm in the middle of painting bird feeders and was waiting for the paint to dry (after decorating a load of Halloween decorations that were in the hobby shop's sale...).

So, today will be finishing off painting and clearing up or hiding in bed. I've not decided yet!

I love these threads. I'm Still in bed at the moment with dh, having a cup of tea, although I have got up to feed the cats, put a load of washing out and the next one in. Off in to town as need to order something. My sister and her dh husband are down visiting for our mum's birthday so we're off out for dinner tonight. Hoping we all might get out for a walk this afternoon, hope it stays dry for a bit! Have lovely days everyone!

Later DS is going to come into town and join me and we are going to go clothes shopping for him. He is fun to shop with so I am looking forward to it.

Just chilling ATM with cuppa, cat and I'm a Celeb. Making pancakes for DD and friends in a mo. Dog walking and cat feeding for friends this morning then going to a Christmas fayre, hopefully get some bargains and win some wine!

This afternoon playing badminton with DD then maybe going to Wetherspoons as I want to try their new katsu curry 😊

Currently having a cup of tea in bed and planning my day ahead.

It's my works Christmas do tonight. Nothing fancy, a small team so we're having a meal at a pub nearby to where we work. Outfit sorted. Just need to wrap my Secret Santa.

Tons of washing that needs to be done.
Shop being delivered this afternoon.
Lots of admin stuff that I keep putting off. Really should crack on with that I suppose.

Art class (best two hours of the week) then I’m making the first of my Christmas cakes.

Was going to go for a run but I’ve woken up with a cold, so we’ll see.

Tomorrow is the 1. Advent, so DD and I will start decorating and baking.

DS will clean up the terrace, there is one load of laundry to do, and a bit of cleaning. DH is food shopping and will be working as usual.

Apart from that, nothing much will happen.

I'm about to do some cleaning and laundry then take Dd to the library.
Need to do a quick shop as I'm doing a curry for tonight and a roast tomorrow.
I want to get as much done today as I can as I intend to meet a friend for a walk then laze around reading for the rest of the day tomorrow.

Pretty busy past week with appointments, so it's nice to just chill. Having said that, I was up at 6am, bad dreams & the need to wee, as always, sigh..
Supermarket delivery later today.

Good morning everyone. Just me and dd8 are up (as usual at this time at the weekend). Dd18, her friend and dd15 are still asleep and dh is at work.

I’m showered and dressed, the washer is on and I’ve tidied around downstairs so far. I’m waiting for the food shop to be delivered - it’s due between 9-10am then I’ll be popping out with dd8 to find her some school trousers as she’s been complaining of being cold but says the tights I bought for her are itchy 🙄

Then it’s home to put the Christmas tree up. Just the inside decorations will be done today, dh refuses to do the outside ones until at least 1st December 😂

This evening it’s sausage and mash for tea, dd18 is working and dh is going for a few drinks for his friend’s birthday so once dd8 is in bed me and dd15 will watch the last three episodes of Game of Thrones. We’ll have to find something else to watch together once this is done. Oh, and it’s my turn to pick dd up from work at 2.30am tonight so I’ll be getting out of bed to do that too. At least I get a lie in tomorrow.

Today we have a trip to the supermarket and then nothing.

I got up at 4 a.m. because I was awake, scrolled YouTube for a while, did a bit of writing and then woke dh up for a special cuddle. Now I'm enjoying my 1st cup of tea after having had a bacon & egg butty.

Sent DH out for a Costa this morning because we ran out of milk, so I'm just finishing up in bed.

Going to make bacon butties for DS's and clean up kitchen. Then off to DM to see if she needs help with shopping today.

DS2 wants to watch Scrooge this afternoon so we may well bring down quilts and put up my new cosy Christmas light for a bit of atmosphere.

Went out with DH for a meal last night and today I don't have the usual weekend feeling of overwhelm because we did something nice for ourselves. We agreed to do it as a bi monthly date - because it felt so good and teen DS has been promoted to chief babysitter.

DH is repairing an issue with the shower, I’m painting a cupboard.
Looking at finances this weekend with DH
DH is hoovering entire house
Start to make some material Christmas wreaths
Make an apple crumble
Try and gather up some leaves in garden
DS back will be bringing his GF probably watch football together, have dinner together.

Looks like a bit to f atom and Barbara day out of the Good Life.

Uni visit with the child. Up since someone woke me up at the crack and I’m bleary eyes already!

Just post-breakfast loafing around at the moment. DD is in her room with DP’s phone.
I’ll go and have a shower shortly. When DD’s carers get here, we’ll DP and I will probably head out to the Christmas fair at a local stately home.
Not sure what we’ll do this afternoon/evening. Might pop by and visit my dad - my mum died this week, so he needs company.
Leftover takeaway curry for supper and something soothing on telly, like the new series of Location x 3.

I’ve just had my second cup of tea and feel a bit more human. Dp is doing the dance/gymnastics runs this morning and then one dd has a party this afternoon.

In between being our children’s taxis, we are planning on doing some decluttering and tidying today (it’s never ending. I wish to be a minimalist but that’s never going to happen. Our house is a disaster 😢)

I've not long woke up and chilling on my iPad. Todays plan is to get the tree down and make a bit of a plan of what needs to be done for Christmas.

The house needs a spruce and will probably go for a walk at some point.

Takeaway tonight with I'm a celeb. Fairly uneventful but with tonsillitis on its way in it works for me 😊
