Do you eat chocolate every day?

I don’t eat a bar of chocolate very often except for the odd KitKat but I had a chocolate mousse today, a bag of maltesers yesterday and chocolate biscuits the day before! What chocolate do you eat and do you eat some every day?

I don't buy it myself, but my dh loves chocolate and keeps buying, so yes I eat some every day. Lindor strawberry and cream and chocolate oranges are the ones that always seems to be there.
Also Chocolate icecream is in the fridge atm.
My dc loves chocolate mousse but he's allergic to dairy. So I make it myself at least once a week. So I eat that too.

Yes, quite often for breakfast, but it's one of my businesses so that's sort of cheating isn't it?! I eat ours, and am also very partial to smarties. Love this time of year because you can get a tube of just the orange ones 😁

I eat chocolate most days. Mainly a Cadbury caramel or Wispa gold multipack bar. I like something sweet after my evening meal.

Probably yes, more likely a chocolate biscuit than a bar of chocolate though.

megletthesecond · 19/11/2022 18:38

Yes.

TeddyTed · 19/11/2022 18:40

I try not too (succeeding ok at the moment), but I would if I could. Around Christmas i’ll have chocolate every day I think

Everydaywheniwakeup · 19/11/2022 18:43

I can't remember the last time I had some. I had a piece of chocolate cake when a colleague brought some into the office for her birthday in September, so probably that.
I'm a jelly sweet kinda woman.

Alacarde · 19/11/2022 18:45

No, I don't eat it often - I prefer savoury things.

Girliefriendlikespuppies · 19/11/2022 18:45

Yep.

4intheCorner · 19/11/2022 18:45

Everyday, multiple times a day 😳

fdkc · 19/11/2022 18:46

Yep I'm a chocoholic and eat some everyday. Anything really but Cadbury is my favourite.

Dogsgottabone · 19/11/2022 18:47

About 75g and sometimes more of very dark chocolate everyday.

I'm a size 10 and very fit. And the rest of my diet is mainly fruit and veg and I easily hit 10 types of fruit and veg a day and 30 types a week.

Chocolate is what keeps my show on the road.

FleecyBlanketPerson · 19/11/2022 18:48

Gave it up about a year ago.
I think I was addicted to it and it was a go to for stress eating.
I haven't missed it and keep away from it.
Just realised how self flagellatory I seem. 😂

AlwaysFullOfQuestions22 · 19/11/2022 18:50

Yes! Often for breakfast. Can easily eat 150g a day!

NurseBernard · 19/11/2022 18:50

I like chocolate but but no, I don’t eat it every day.

DifferentOne · 19/11/2022 18:52

I love chocolate but try not to eat it every day. I probably have some 3 or 4 days a week. Sometimes just a small amount, like on a digestive biscuit, other times I stuff my face with a big bar.

Snugglemonkey · 19/11/2022 18:53

At the minute I am eating loads of chocolate. I am pregnant and my taste buds have changed. Normally all my snacks are savoury and I don't really do sweet stuff apart from the odd haribo, but I am eating chocolate several times a week and dp is finding it all very strange.

Spanielsarepainless · 19/11/2022 18:56

Most days. I love the Ritter Alpine milk chocolate from Lidl (not always available) and the 50% cocoa solids one from the same manufacturer. But also Dairy Milk, Galaxy, plain chocolate digestives and Hobnobs, Twix, Kitkat..

SomethingNastyInTheBallPool · 19/11/2022 18:56

I go through phases. I can go for ages without eating any, then suddenly I really fancy some and all bets are off. Today, I’ve had two M&S chocolate orange biscuits - the ones with a really thick layer of chocolate - and a few toffee eclairs.

notsosoftanymore · 19/11/2022 18:56

At the moment yes, it's definitely addictive, I used to eat it only occasionally. I try to eat just a few pieces of good quality dark chocolate because it's impossible to eat more but I often eat a whole bar of Aldi hazelnut chocolate as well as a chocolate mousse type thing after supper. I do manage to avoid the cheaper chocolate which is often full of things I'd rather avoid.

Hohofortherobbers · 19/11/2022 19:06

Rarely a day passes when I don't eat some chocolate

Suzi888 · 19/11/2022 19:07

Yes, pretty much. Crisps I’ll eat if I’m hungover, sick, feeling like death.

Now I really want chocolate mousse Blush

notsosoftanymore · 19/11/2022 19:23

@hilariousnamehere I know the feeling 😊

Iwannerbeyourslave · 19/11/2022 19:26

I used to. Now I'm obsessed with Squashies and go straight for those.
