Do you eat chocolate every day?

I don’t eat a bar of chocolate very often except for the odd KitKat but I had a chocolate mousse today, a bag of maltesers yesterday and chocolate biscuits the day before! What chocolate do you eat and do you eat some every day?

Yep every day I eat chocolate in some form. I work in a supermarket, its too easy for me to get. There is often out of date cake or biscuits of some kind in the staff room. Really doesn't help me with healthy eating haha.

DelurkingAJ · 19/11/2022 19:29

Yes. Now more than ever…we’re supposed to be moving house in less than a fortnight (have exchanged so I half believe it’s happening) and it’s chocolate or gin, frankly!

Kalasbyxor · 19/11/2022 19:33

So interesting.
I have quite a sweet tooth, but chocolate isn't on my radar. If I never saw another piece of chocolate again, I wouldn't miss it.

I eat it everyday - usually a bit at morning coffee time and a bit with a hot chocolate before bed.

LadyLolaRuben · 19/11/2022 19:38

Yes every day, wish it wasn't the case

IToldYouAmillionTimesAlready · 19/11/2022 19:40

I eat chocolate almost every day! Yesterday was 2 Crunchies, today has been a Curly Wurly

kerstina · 19/11/2022 19:40

Yes I eat it every day . Am totally addicted. I eat it usually after my evening meal. Favourite affordable chocolate would be Ritter sport with the hazelnuts in dark or milk . How bad is this for me I am not sure but I definitely crave my fix of chocolate.

LimeCheesecake · 19/11/2022 19:43

Yes I do. I realised I actually have less calories if I allow myself the small amount of chocolate I want rather than trying to fill myself up with other things that don’t quite hit the spot.

HelloBunny · 19/11/2022 19:45

I hate orange chocolate...
I like most other chocolate & always get something nice for Christmas.
I’d have phases of eating more or less, deffo more before my period.

TopBitchoftheWitches · 19/11/2022 19:47

No I don't, cheese and crisps though I eat every day.

Facecream · 19/11/2022 19:50

When I was pregnant both times yes.
After a year when I had DD I was so bloated I made myself stop.
It was harder than quitting smoking.
I really don’t like chocolate if I’m not pregnant or post pregnancy.

Every day, and we are dieting, so, basically it's about 50odd calories worth, and would be delicious, except at the moment my teaser bars are stale! I can't throw them away - sacrilege - so, after I have finished this bar (3 days), I shall get back to Lidl's crusty crunch, or whatever it is called. And yes, the only way I lose weight is with a calorie controlled diet - I get to chose where the calories come from...

notacooldad · 19/11/2022 20:04

No, I don’t like it as much as I used to. We always have loads in at work but I can take it or leave it these days.

Squirrelvillage · 19/11/2022 20:04

Yes, a bit most evenings.

JackTorrance · 19/11/2022 20:06

Yes every evening after dinner, a few sqaures of the Green & Black's 85%.

Creatingusernamesismygame · 19/11/2022 20:07

I eat too much chocolate a day. Very sweet tooth. More chocolate than savoury for me.

Lcb123 · 19/11/2022 20:10

Usually a couple of squares from a large bar after dinner. But that’s my only sweet treat of the day

FiveShelties · 19/11/2022 20:11

I hardly eat chocolate at all now, stopped when they started putting palm oil in. Now, if they could do that with wine, I would be so healthy!

ABlindAssassin · 19/11/2022 20:12

Probably 2-3 times per day! Chocolate biscuits like kit kat/orange club etc. One after lunch. One after dinner. Maybe one with my coffee at work!

CoodleMoodle · 19/11/2022 20:13

I eat something chocolate based every day (sometimes something small, some days a lot more), but I don't eat anything else sweet (except fruit).

So if we went out for a meal and there was nothing chocolaty on the dessert menu, I'd skip it entirely.

Mammillaria · 19/11/2022 20:14

No. But ask me about cheese...

FourChimneys · 19/11/2022 20:14

Most days but only very dark vegan chocolate. Just a few squares normally. I make chocolate cake regularly too.

I think as part of a balanced diet and with plenty of exercise it is not a problem and probably a healthier treat than a lot of things.

Justcallmebebes · 19/11/2022 20:15

V rarely. I never buy it and don't like it that much. Cheese I could eat all day

LadyMarmaladeAtkins · 19/11/2022 20:15

Yep. I buy multipacks of small ones and don't have two all that often 😀

Inextremis · 19/11/2022 20:15

I had one mojito flavoured After Eight last Wednesday. I can't remember when I had any before that. I'm just not a great chocolate fan, I'm not denying myself! I like a rose or violet creme at Christmas, but other than that I can take it or leave it.
