Brussels sprouts, heaven or hell?

Who loves them and who hates them?
I loved them and could eat a whole plateful.
DH hates them 😁

Love them. Par boiled and then fried with pancetta or with chestnuts and a splash of port.

Love them. They should only be steamed though. Then lightly sautéed in butter (with chestnuts and lardons at Christmas).

Boiled or frozen are an abomination!

Love them, especially the baby ones .

I absolutely love them. I've had them 3x this week while on holiday as they are common in restaurants served as a side dish - fried with Bacon & potatoes with maple syrup ( I could do without the syrup)

I grow my own and they are exceptionally delicious 😚

Marinaded in marmite.

Food of the gods. Par boil, roasted with garlic and sea salt. Mwah.

I wouldn't say they were heaven but I do really like them just steamed with a knob of butter and salt and pepper, as part of a roast.

Brussels sprouts are not something I grew up eating as I'm Mexican.
But I encountered my first taste of them at my MIL's Christmas lunch in England about 27 years ago. Sadly, I wasn't impressed.

I tried my hand at them and I love them now.
As a matter of fact, I'll be eating some later today.

Love them - my favourite veg!

I have mine like this, but with a bit of red onion too. I swap the pine nuts for chestnuts for the Christmas day ones and add a splash of marsala. A world away from the overboiled horrors I remember.
