Brussels sprouts, heaven or hell?

Who loves them and who hates them?
I loved them and could eat a whole plateful.
DH hates them 😁

Beautiful, whether lightly steamed, stir fried or shamelessly overcooked in true British style.

Which is odd because I love pretty much every other brassica.

Love them. But they cannot be crunchy!

Love them. I always have a bag of frozen ones in the freezer.

Since I've got an air fryer and found that I can cook them in there, I'm getting pretty addicted!

Delicious in any form.

They're very nice cut in half and deep fried with lots of salt and a squeeze of lemon.

Love them. They're even better cold the following day.

Love them. And I don’t need any fancy bollocks on them either. A plate of nicely boiled (not over cooked) sprouts would be my ideal veggie Xmas dinner!

I have grown my own this year for Christmas!

Delicious. Food of the gods if just boiled, but fry them with garlic and bacon and I could live off them.

Love. Love. Have been known to swap them with others for roasties.

I have 3 brussles sprouts plants in the potager ready to be sliced off on Christmas Morning.

I never used to grow them in the UK as they would get mauled with bugs but this year, if you can get them through the flea beetle stage they are growing so fast that they aren't troubled by other pests at all.

Love sprouts. Apparently they are so much milder and sweeter nowadays compared to the bitter ones of grandparent's experience.
They've been bred different or something!!

I like them, but they're not my favourite green veg. I could eat a plateful though, no probs.

Same in this house. I stopped getting them cos dh didn't like them but have started again. I use a steamer and I just take them out first leaving the rest for dh that also includes the broccoli
