I got them!

I'm actually crying as these are a very much wanted Christmas gift for a sick family member of mine! Smile

Yay! So glad you got them

I only wanted 2 tickets oh well - I will not buy from people wanting excessive money for them

If you wanted to see him you had no choice. The Manchester venue adds £2.75 to each ticket, their official seller is Ticketmaster and with their charges it was an additional £9 a ticket.

I don't know if you could go in person to the ticket office and buy at face value.

Nottodaty · 12/11/2022 11:16

I got two!!

PanicAtTheBigTesco · 12/11/2022 11:36

Plenty more dates announced if anyone hasn't got them yet.

CatsAreAlwaysCute · 12/11/2022 12:35

Omg! Look at the prices on the resale websites! Sad

Nowheretoogo · 12/11/2022 12:52

I managed to get 2 but I have to travel all the way to London o2 😬

bumblefeline · 12/11/2022 12:56

I have given up now, tried with 02 priority. Queued ages this morning, only date coming up was 2024 don't really want to wait that long. Will wait and see if any resale tickets come up closer to the time for the gigs in Manchester and Liverpool.

CatsAreAlwaysCute · 12/11/2022 13:01

I'm sorry for those who couldn't get through. I hope that those selling on resell websites have their tickets cancelled. They aren't real fans.

Got them! There were over 186000 in front of me when I joined the queue!

whokilledlizandseb · 12/11/2022 13:03

Wanted Birmingham got Manchester 2024.

Weekend away for me!

Floralnomad · 12/11/2022 13:12

There should be some kind of proof of original purchase to stop the ridiculous resale prices , it’s particularly bad as the tickets have been priced to be affordable in the first place . My sister managed to get 2 more for Dec 23 at the O2 for my other sister , so we’ve done quite well .

Hopefully he announces loads and loads more dates and no one buys the resale ones!

Nowheretoogo · 12/11/2022 13:18

Go on gigs and tours they have tickets for 2024 available still

Gingernaut · 12/11/2022 13:21

I went on viagogo to see if there were tickets closer than London

A basic £74.25 ticket for 2024 is on the site for over £400

These aren't fans. These are touts.

But just a holding page for queuing with no indication what number you’re at

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 12/11/2022 14:31

I thought the tickets were supposed to be like 35quid?

Whereisthehugeteddybear · 12/11/2022 14:33

I think the starting price was £35. I got some that were 41, and a friend got some (presumably better seats) for 57.

Floralnomad · 12/11/2022 14:34

They start at £35 ish , but that is I assume in the rafters at somewhere like the O2 , my sister has paid £75 each for level 1 .

CatsAreAlwaysCute · 12/11/2022 16:52

I paid £75, but I know someone who only paid £35, which is good value

Why are you making a big drama out of my comment jesus there’s always one. The point I was making was I’m not going to bother buying tickets after seeing he’s not as nice as we are led believe

That's nice. I however have met him and he was LOVELY. Exactly as I imagined he would be. Not in a 'him meeting a fan' type scenario either. He was a pleasure.

Hope everyone enjoys seeing him! Believe me, he is just as lovely behind the scenes as you'd all hope :)

CatsAreAlwaysCute · 14/02/2023 23:24

Has anyone seen the show yet? Is it good?

OP posts:
WeAreTheHeroes · 15/02/2023 11:47

I'll report back on Saturday. We've swapped tickets with friends who now can't go this Friday.

WeAreTheHeroes · 18/02/2023 07:51

Well worth seeing. Mix of daft jokes, observational stuff and singing. We laughed a lot. Some really, really funny sections. I did think you have to be around his age to get some of it, but that's because we are and nostalgia plays a part. I was sat next to some young guys who seemed to be really enjoying it. The encores were great.

LaRitournelle · 23/02/2023 18:06

We went last Friday and I agree with everything above, it was fab but I'm mid 20's and some of the first half was a bit too old for me! Still a great show though. The only other thing I'll say is don't leave...
