Best European city break with teenagers?

Looking for suggestions for a city break next summer with 2 older teenagers.
Not Paris or Barcelona (been there)

We like history, cathedrals and water!

Wanted to do say 3 nights?

I'd say Amsterdam.

Venice

Berlin. Super cool.

Berlin also has massive public open air swimming pools we went in May swam in the morning sight seeing in afternoon.

Yes to Berlin!

YY to Amsterdam. Brugge and Brussels. Prague. All of Tuscany. Rome. Millions of places many of which I haven't been to yet

Venice, Rome, Sevilla, Malaga, Lisbon are all faves for us! Heard excellent things about Valencia too.

Definitely Budapest

Amsterdam every time! Ghent is also beautiful and would meet your criteria.

Nuremberg. The Hitler trails things are fascinating

Amsterdam - so SO much more than weed and red lights!

Krakow, Prague, sarlat(France) is lovely and you can go canoeing down the river and eat from the French markets.

Berlin or Hamburg

Berlin! Just done this with teens at half term and they loved it. Very cool city

Copenhagen - such a cool city, walkable, lots of water

I'm taking DS13 to Berlin. After lots of research I was surprised how much it had to offer.

Came on to say the same. Mine absolutely loved it when they were teenagers. Ended up going 3 times with them.

Loads of lovely outdoor spas, waterpark on Margaret island, tons and tons of history, river cruises, castle, and great food, if you like pork - which I do. They have other food too of course. Nice beer as well.

I went to Copenhagen last month and really enjoyed it. It would be ideal to take teenagers to.

Berlin

Rome is a great choice. Ancient history everywhere and easy food - pizza, pasta and ice cream.

Berlin is also amazing. There is the WW2 angle, the Cold War and Berlin Wall.

Bruges, Amsterdam. krakow,

Sicily.

Oops. Not a city. Venice would be great.
