Best European city break with teenagers?

Looking for suggestions for a city break next summer with 2 older teenagers.
Not Paris or Barcelona (been there)

We like history, cathedrals and water!

Wanted to do say 3 nights?

Just done Athens with teen boys - it was brilliant - tons of history, great bars and restaurants with heated outdoor spaces, lots of beautiful views, some cool graffiti art.

Valencia- so much to do and see.

Another vote for Berlin

Malaga is a good city break.

My boys loved Stuttgart, Amsterdam, Naples, Munich, Berlin, Edinburgh, London. We lived outside the UK.

Malaga, Nice with a day out in Monaco in the train.

Prague or Valletta. Both have so much history - plenty to do in both.

Madrid and Valencia were a hit this year and you can do both. We flew into Madrid and did 4 nights there and then took the fast train to Valencia for a week.

I'd go with Prague, it's gorgeous and has all your requirements. I've been 3 times and would happily go again (if you've got room!)

Porto !

my teens really liked it. Lovely food and people. Chilled walking round, Harry Potter library.

could do beach nearby or river cruise (we were too lazy). Cables cars etc

We had a air b and b on the river tho, that really helped

Moscow. Budapest. Krakow.

I'm planning a trip to Athens with my history-loving teen next year, looks perfect. We also loved Amsterdam.

We are looking at Porto for next April, please could you link the air bnb you stayed in? (Assuming you would recommend it!)
