cannot get my head around the price. It’s absolutely tiny!

ChessieFL · 02/11/2022 07:12

It’s so pretty though!

Redhead37 · 02/11/2022 07:12

I want it, it's gorgeous!!!!!!

KoalaPineapple · 02/11/2022 07:14

Oh it’s so cute! And overlooking an NT deer park! Idyllic (out of my price range by a solid 400000 tho ha)

Tinytigertail · 02/11/2022 07:15

What a beautiful cottage, set in a deer park too!

RodiganReed · 02/11/2022 07:17

Bambi Cottage, what a treasure!

MrsJBaptiste · 02/11/2022 07:17

Ew, no, that is not for me. The beams, the decor, the size...

NewNameNov · 02/11/2022 07:18

Might show that we live somewhere horrendously overpriced but for £650k that's better value than we'd get around here. (3 bed semi, small garden)

So charming and scenic and really 2 bedroom with the cottage.

Not a bad price for the right person!

(Well it is a ludicrous amount for a small place, but compared to around here I mean!)

NewNameNov · 02/11/2022 07:19

Red carpet would need to go though. First job for sure.

PermanentTemporary · 02/11/2022 07:19

Love it, for a completely different person 😄 I hate living in the middle of nowhere and don't want thatch. But I hope someone lovely buys it and has a wonderful life there.

BitOutOfPractice · 02/11/2022 07:19

Problem is, with these sort of unique properties the EA can pretty much make up a price. It needs a lot of work.

WhatAboutGiraffes · 02/11/2022 07:20

Very pretty but Jesus the layout is abysmal. I’d forever be trying to understand why I had 2 living rooms and 1 bedroom in the main house. With that annexe it would work great for a couple who couldn’t sleep together due to snoring though. 🤣

zen1 · 02/11/2022 07:20

I quite like the alternating colours on the stair carpet. Very quirky!

ladywithnomanors · 02/11/2022 07:20

The outside is beautiful, the inside not so much. But there might be some nice flooring under those god awful carpets.

Lmgify · 02/11/2022 07:22

So cute!!! It’s like a fairytale cottage!! Might have to sell the kids to afford it, gonna have to anyway since it’s only a one bed 😂

GoodnightGentleBoris · 02/11/2022 07:22

Quite nice for a couple who wants to live together but not actually together!

Hopperhead · 02/11/2022 07:22

Love it, but really, Bambi Cottage?! I'd be embarrassed to give out my house name!

dudsville · 02/11/2022 07:22

It's definitely cute, but the layout is bonkers. The bathroom is too far away from the bedroom. It could be nice to the tiny sitting room perhaps?

Veryverycalmnow · 02/11/2022 07:23

Is it the actual one they used for the Hobbit?

Weefreetiffany · 02/11/2022 07:25

Next to a deer park means any kind of flower or veg garden would be futile. The ceilings look super low too. But what a gem for the right person.

Buckland123 · 02/11/2022 07:25

Yikes, the interior is hideous.

Whereisthehugeteddybear · 02/11/2022 07:27

It's cute but pretty dated so even with that price tag you'd need to spend more to update it.

blebbleb · 02/11/2022 07:28

Expensive but it's lovely and I don't think it's tiny. Our 2 bed house has less surface area. Not sure what size homes you all live in.

StripeyDeckchair · 02/11/2022 07:30

No way

I have a deep hate of thatched cottages - I think its down to seeing several catch fire as a child and being told the roof is always fill of mice and bugs.

Anyway would never live in anything thatched.

Quitelikeacatslife · 02/11/2022 07:32

Really cute but needs some money spending on, and no where to eat? Guess you'd do something in the tiny sitting room . Little cottage would make amazing home office and guest room , whistle on commute over the grass :)
