Nice area, bit twee for me and needs a full revamp. However, I was particularly struck by the estate agent's suggestion the grandchildren could use the summerhouse for sleepovers.

Yeah, with unfettered access to a road, farmland and a deer park. You'd feel so secure leaving children much below teens in there overnight.

The cottage is ideal for a short staycation business. I would imagine couples taking up a few nights there every now and then for a romantic getaway.

It would be fine until a gimp-masked local weirdo opened up in the garden in the height of winter or it's built over a witch's grave or some such portal to hell. Got AirBnB written all over it - possibly with a glamping shepherd's hut addition.
