The Poncetastic threads in Christmas are lovely, as are the Christmas Chronicles ready along threads.

Sparklingbrook · 29/10/2022 18:31

I quite like The Litter Tray with the cat pictures.

Papergirl1968 · 29/10/2022 18:33

I was about to say the Litter Tray too. 😺

Iusedtoplaytherecorder · 29/10/2022 18:33

I started one today on AIBU - I'm trying to learn to play the piano, and it's had 100% positive comments. It's lifted my spirits no end hearing about everyone's encouragement and happy stories.

socksandvests · 29/10/2022 18:34

I go and look at cats on the litter tray section. No nastiest in there either, just lovely cat people

ODFOx · 29/10/2022 18:34

I love recipes and meal planning.
I like the baby names except when people are mean. If the choices aren't to my taste I just tiptoe away.

socksandvests · 29/10/2022 18:35

*nastiness 🤦🏻‍♀️

TheSpottedZebra · 29/10/2022 18:36

Gardening is very nice and sooo helpful, as long as you stay away from plastic grass and pesticide.

TabithaTittlemouse · 29/10/2022 18:39

Style and beauty for me too especially the Liberty threads.

And lilies.

Baby names

Sparklingbrook · 29/10/2022 19:05

Is baby names still full of trolls?

Lalalaleeloo · 29/10/2022 19:06

The Christmas board used to be nice and cosy. Some people have been trying to ruin it this year though.

PermanentTemporary · 29/10/2022 19:07

Another vote for What we're reading.

Lalalaleeloo · 29/10/2022 19:07

I wouldn't call Baby Names "relaxed."

Marthasfrog · 29/10/2022 19:08

I've seen arguments of epic proportions in the Litter Tray over the years! Style and beauty is safer but depends on the content.

Crafts and books are generally safe from combative posters and drama. Also the exercise and yoga topics are all safe and friendly, but more niche.

Radio is fine, but the Archers thread can be fraught now and then.

Nor I!

Attracts lots of fantasy trolls and arguments.

Whatispumpkinspice · 29/10/2022 19:09

I quite like a housekeeping thread and reading about how people keep their house tidy or make it feel more cosy.

absoluteshower · 29/10/2022 19:10

Recipes and home decoration.

SunshineLollipopsAndRainbows · 29/10/2022 19:10

What’s Happening In Your House? can be very comforting & cosy.

It was the last time I looked, yes. 😀

Naming twins/triplets/quads particularly.

AuntieStella · 29/10/2022 19:11

The Exercise topic is lovely - really encouraging, whatever you do and regardless of how well/badly you do it

(but it's not a weight loss topic!)

sarahc336 · 29/10/2022 19:12

Gardening or style and beauty. I do like the diy and home decor boards too. I love aibu board but totally not relaxing 🤣🤣

Lookingformymarbles · 29/10/2022 19:12

Style & Beauty is although have noticed more 'less nice' comments recently. I particularly like the Royal
Style thread, lots of lovely clothes & jewellery (& tiaras)

Also big time lurker & very occasional poster on What we're reading.

Love looking at pics of people dogs, cats & gardens so when I need cheering up I head there.
