The Poncetastic threads in Christmas are lovely, as are the Christmas Chronicles ready along threads.

I quite like The Litter Tray with the cat pictures.

I was about to say the Litter Tray too. 😺

I started one today on AIBU - I'm trying to learn to play the piano, and it's had 100% positive comments. It's lifted my spirits no end hearing about everyone's encouragement and happy stories.

I go and look at cats on the litter tray section. No nastiest in there either, just lovely cat people

I love recipes and meal planning.
I like the baby names except when people are mean. If the choices aren't to my taste I just tiptoe away.

Gardening is very nice and sooo helpful, as long as you stay away from plastic grass and pesticide.

The Christmas board used to be nice and cosy. Some people have been trying to ruin it this year though.

I wouldn't call Baby Names "relaxed."

I've seen arguments of epic proportions in the Litter Tray over the years! Style and beauty is safer but depends on the content.

Crafts and books are generally safe from combative posters and drama. Also the exercise and yoga topics are all safe and friendly, but more niche.

Radio is fine, but the Archers thread can be fraught now and then.

Nor I!

Attracts lots of fantasy trolls and arguments.

I quite like a housekeeping thread and reading about how people keep their house tidy or make it feel more cosy.

Recipes and home decoration.

The Exercise topic is lovely - really encouraging, whatever you do and regardless of how well/badly you do it

Style & Beauty is although have noticed more 'less nice' comments recently. I particularly like the Royal
Style thread, lots of lovely clothes & jewellery (& tiaras)

Also big time lurker & very occasional poster on What we're reading.

Love looking at pics of people dogs, cats & gardens so when I need cheering up I head there.
