How have I never noticed that thread. They're a good bunch, the Night Watch.

Oh I loved those threads.

I also used them in my real life when my DFather was waiitng for cancer results. He is in New Zealand and so we did 'shifts' of worrying. I would worry during our day so he and DMother could sleep and vice versa. It was very comforting and worked very well.

I welcome anyone who wishes to join the Daily Project thread in chat. It's lovely and friendly and supportive.

What we're reading is my favourite but there are often very funny threads in Chat. I always check Films too if I'm going to see something in the cinema.

I've never seen conflict on gardening.
The night worries is always positive, it was started in 2019 by one of the then cancer thread posters. Lots of us on there were pretty low at the time.

Defo the litter tray with the cat pictures , I do not have a cat but would love one due to this.
I even know at lot the regular cats on there from the owners to the cats ☺️.
Sybil is the most gorgeous cat 😍.

I found the night worries thread a few months ago and felt so soothed even though it was daytime and I didn't particularly have any worries. It was what I imagine my son feels when he watches these ASMR (AMSR?) videos. Very calming just to read these comforting words.

I also used to love the daily gratitude threads on Religion and Philosophy. This has reminded me to go back there and check its still there.

I am also on the ongoing non drinking support thread and find it so calming to check in with everyone and hear how supportive and friendly everyone is.

And thanks to lucysmam I always love reading her "what's everyone up to today" threads at the weekend. Quite calming to hear everyone's day from the mundane to what we're having for dinner to events and things that pass the day. I love hearing that someone, potentially at the other end of the country, is also sitting listening to the birds enjoying their coffee. Feels like all is calm and peaceful all over. Even people's busy days. There's a sense of the world just busying about their day. I find that quite comforting. I don't always post but love reading them.

I've also enjoyed word games, guess the songs and there was one years ago that asked about our grandparents and great grandparents lives. I found that so fascinating.

I try to avoid bunfight threads. No one need that stress in their day.
