How can I get a Tesco clubcard without giving them my address?

I had one years ago and was inundated with unsolicited mail. I stopped. We now live with a very small Tesco nearby. I use when I am desperate. BUT they are charging about double price for certain things unless you have a club card.

You can't. You pay for the clubcard by providing them with your data. You can probably opt out of marketing contact though.

I just get vouchers in the mail quarterly. I’m sure you can say no offers when you sign up.

You can't. They need your address to send you your money off vouchers. They certainly don't spam mail me.

Did you actually open any of the mail? It was probably your vouchers 😂

You probably have to opt out of postal vouchers, mine just appear on my online shop for me to use, about every 3 months

You can't have a clubcard without providing your address. You can opt out of the mailshots though. I think you can set it all up online these days.

It isn't a problem for many tens of thousands of people. I like some of the offers and deals you can get with the clubcard. If you want them sign up. If you don't then don't.

I only use Tesco online, maybe it's different if you use the shop

There are plenty of images of peoples clubcard barcodes on Google Images. Just download them to your phone if all you want are the lower prices.

Someone on another forum said that they used the address of the local post office but Tescos emailed them a clubcard barcode number. They also opted to receive the vouchers via email.

I don't get any mail from them now.

I don't get spam - however they do send me my money off vouchers to my home address.

I've never had any mail from them other than the vouchers. And I've had a Clubcard since they first came out.

I've only ever received vouchers from tesco in the mail with money off. I haven't received mail from them for ages.

So do I apart from, maybe, one a year telling me how many points I've got.

I get mail 4 times a year with vouchers. I save them all up for Xmas.

How will they send you your vouchers if you don’t tell them where you live?

You can ask for vouchers to be emailed /via the Tesco app. We don’t get any snail mail from Tesco now, it’s all online. I think it’s going that way automatically in the next three months, according to a recent email.

I don’t bother with the faff of vouchers. I have one and have no idea where it is registered to as I don’t get emails or junk. I save 20-25% every week. Make an address up.

Another one that gets no mail at all from them. I get my vouchers via the app & get a very occasional email but nothing through the post

Yes, I get quarterly emails about my points and my vouchers are on the online account but obviously if you use the Tesco store you will need the posted vouchers or it would be a right faff like Waitrose is, I would much rather have paper vouchers to use in store
