Hi everyone,

I love reading these so thought I'd start one. What's happening in your home today/this evening?

We've had a relaxing day for the most part. DH is taking an exam for work in a few weeks so he's been studying on and off. This morning while he studied a little, I got out the playdoh with ds (2), then we had lunch, went for a walk and to the shop all together. This afternoon we've had some telly time while DH studied again, and I'm making a tuna and sweetcorn pasta bake for dinner. DH will have dinner with us and we'll do bedtime together for DS, DH will return to the books whilst I watch a movie and eat a tub of popcorn from the cinema next door. Just a very relaxed day! I'm also 24 weeks pregnant and particularly exhausted today so it's just what I needed ☺️

Just come back off holiday. Will be going to the wave the light at 7pm to light a candle in memory of my Babies. It's the first year my town has done the wave of light.

DH and I are out with friends for Italian food and a few drinks

We’ve had a quiet day.
DP got up with DD and let me have a lie in, he woke me up with a cup of coffee and a sausage buttie.
went to the park, had a row in the car on the way there. We’re both tired and stressed but the row was actually quite a good one, as they go. We both listened and aired things that needed airing.
home for lunch, watching the first game of the RL World Cup on bbc.
Im off to work tonight so will be making tea shortly, pork and veg in sweet and sour sauce.

Formal black tie dinner. Just about to go and wash my hair, DH has spent most of the day writing his speech, I hope he keeps it short!!

@MayISuggestSomeThickCutSteakChipsToGoWithThat sorry for your losses. It will be comforting to light a candle and think of them. I had a MMC and the baby was due October 3rd so we often think of that little one around this time.

Then sitting in my bedroom thinking yet again that there must be more to life and wondering if it is possible to really truly disappear.

Too many responsibilities.

Absolutely nothing. We like chilling on Saturday night.

nothing on today neither. Kids and DH are watching football, im in bed watching Christmas 24. Plus its windy, raining heavily and thunder and lightning. So a right day to snuggle up and chill.

Absolutely sweet FA. Just back from holiday and long week at work. Happy to chill.

Evening meal ready. Had a busy week by my standards.
Doing nothing would be nice.

Being ill. both got covid and knackered. Just about managing to watch TV. Will do scissors paper stone later for who takes dog out.

Chinese and football on tv

Black tie ball for us! Had my hair done earlier so trying to stop the toddler climbing over me and ruining it! My mum is coming to stay and babysit, putting DD to bed for the first time so half expecting a call to come back early but fingers crossed.

Feeling under the weather today so not done a lot apart from a hair cut. Tonight DH has a gig so he will be cooking us burger and chips and DD 9 and I will watch a film (prob Harry Potter again 😂)

Been to TKMaxx with a bored and whingey DS (15). Home now but at 5 we are going to the village pub for a few with other friends. Probably come home, light the fire and perhaps get a Dominos, drink wine and watch TV with the dogs on my lap.

I’m on my own with dog, rare occurrence at home watching Cruella on Disney. DH and DS1 are at football and DS2 has gone to the Alcatraz experience in London for a friend’s birthday.

Have an early start at work tomorrow morning, so will have a shower and get my things ready soon, that way I can enjoy my evening. Making a curry, which we'll eat around the start of Strictly and watch that.

Easy ready meals and a few drinks to celebrate wedding anniversary

Chilling out with tv and knitting a squares for a blanket for ds, need to get a move on so it’s ready for winter!

We are having homemade pizzas at DD's request. Watching strictly and then I'll probably fall asleep during a film that DD and DH choose. (I've had banging headache and felt tired all day so that's a guarantee!)

Chilled out day for us.
Dd watching videos of all her favourite K-pop bands on YouTube, I'm lounging on my phone, dh in bed as he's in pain. Ds2 at the footy. I'll be picking him up soon then his friend is coming for a sleepover and to play fifa, the rest of us will be watching Strictly come dancing with a take away for tea.

I'm going to see Dara O'Briain at the Apollo tonight! Really looking forward to it!

We host a family from Ukraine, tonight we are having a movie night together - popcorn and pizza for 8 children and 2 adults. Our house is pretty full these days!

Friends are coming for dinner so we've cleaned the house a bit and have a shoulder of lamb slow roasting in the oven.

DH has had a hangover most of today after going to Oktoberfest in Manchester with his work last night. I've done most of the childcare and housework this morning but now DH has recovered a bit we've swapped and I'm in the bath. Once the kids are in bed we're going to have a late dinner of cheese and crackers and play board games like we did pre-dc.
