From the mundane to the important.

Mundane - My Who Gives a Crap order is on it's way and it's got limited edition wrapping paper this time.

Important: DD started a new school for 6th form and she loves it and seems to be starting to make friends. I feel very relieved because she might not have!

I have a maintain of damsons, apples, pears, raspberries, bluberries and rhubarb from my allotment.
I'm spending the weekend making jam.

I'll freeze some of the soft fruit so we can have smoothies for breakfast on Christmas and New Year's day.
Far too many damsons for jam. I'll keep some back and have a go at damson wine and gin

Today felt like a proper autumnal morning & I can’t wait for cosy winter nights

I've got a good lipstick on, and I'm going out for lunch with a friend who I haven't seen since June. We've got loads to talk about 😊

I've got two mangoes so may make some mango sorbet 😋

I have the house to myself because my family are away. I've got a bottle of cava chilling for later

Just mundane here but it’s sunny and dry for the first time this week, and I am so glad to get laundry pegged out.

Now it’s getting cooler the cat has reverted to being a lap cat. I always forget how lovely it is. It’s a brief window because in summer she would live in the garden, and in winter she likes to toast herself on the radiators.

My DP is away this weekend - although the event he is at was half cancelled - and before he left (while I was at work) he unexpectedly did all the housework. I plan to go for a run later but otherwise have a super-relaxing couple of days.

A bag of fruit sherbets l bought from Marks & Spencer’s after work yesterday. Morning sickness is bad but they help

Back at park run again after having dd2 and this morning was such a lovely early autumn morning 😁 x

For me, everyone's out and I'm enjoying a podcast and a capucino. I love quiet days.

I watched Ali G indahouse this morning.

It hasn't aged well and it's so terrible but man it made me giggle!

The sun is shining and there’s lovely music coming from DS room. He has bad MH and it’s a marker of how he’s doing. It’s making me smile.

Those are all lovely things.

Knackered I hope the lovely music continues for days, months and years to come :)

I've just been able to sit down with a cuppa and some toast after cleaning up DS sick from the front room.

Took the dog for a lovely walk
Cleaned the house
Done some baking
Now I’m on the sofa looking at a beautiful flower arrangement my Dh has sent me as he’s working away whilst having a coffee with the dog snoring next to me

No gloom here

Ive cleaned the house, pegged out the washing, done the weekly shop and have the rest of the day to myself. Bliss!

Im comforted by autumn and darker nights. I suffer with pretty awful MH and can struggle with summer sometimes.

I will indulge myself watching the coverage which I find fascinating but terribly sad.

Well everything - I haven't been made miserable by some old woman who I don't know dying at the age of 96.

I do wish they'd stop with the miserable music on the radio though.

So sorry to hear about your son. How old is he? DSW had bad MH. He was suicidal at one point and is happy in the navy now. Before were awful times though 💐

I have a lovely little dog dozing at my feet and when she wakes up, all we have to do this afternoon is a massive walkies

DH and I have been sitting talking about our last long distance walk and thinking of doing another. We had said that was our last.
My very old dog has enjoyed his home made food and looks happy. I've been doing it since March. He was supposed to be PTS but I started cooking food for a senior dog and he bounced back!

I’m reading about the royal beekeeper and it’s absolutely given me the always fuzzies.

Going to parkrun really lifted my spirits this morning. Also got my alarm set ready to go to the great north run tomorrow.

My DS is learning to crawl and my beautiful DD with very complex needs is being much more vocal after her first week of school 🥰 Plus it's DP's birthday today so we are going to have a movie day and a Chinese! It's been a busy and sad week with the Queen passing so it's been a nice start to the weekend

DS behaved delightfully all of yesterday. We have been having problems with his behavior at school recently so this was a welcome break.

I got my American citizenship.

I have promising initial results from my new face creams.
