What things do you know is wrong, but still stupidly believe for a moment when you think about it?

Mine is Mexico

I know it’s near the equator. I know Canada is north of America. Yet everytime I think of Mexico, I randomly think it’s North America before I have to remind myself no, it’s south.

About 15 years ago I used to work with a guy and he told me where he lived, in a block of flats. In my head I got them mixed up with another block of flats and so whenever I pass the flats that I convinced myself he lived in, for a minute I wonder if he is still living there. Then I have to remind myself he never lived there and I need to move on 😄

Op I’m the same As you… north is definitely Canada and south is Mexico and everything underneath

Canada, USA and Mexico are all in the continent of “North America”.

I always think Mexico is in Central America but it’s not.

I think I need to be specific and mean that South America is Brazil and that and so technically north of that.

But it’s south OF America..which is what I meant. I always picture it being where Canada is

South of the USA, not America! I always have to mentally relocate Poland. I always think it's where Romania is although I know it's not.

Mexico is south of the USA but definitely on the North American continent. The Central American countries are also on the North American continent.

South America starts at Colombia.

@Isaidnoalready, yes, I could have sworn he had already died. I have that problem with a lot of celebrities and public figures though. Often think people are dead who are actually still alive and vice versa 😂

I always picture Hawaii being in the Caribbean despite knowing its in the Pacific.

DH took a lit of convincing that Washington DC was nowhere near Washington State.

However, I'm usually the gullible one which is why he nearly managed to convince me we had to do Escaped Lion drills as part of our house purchase last year (it is near a zoo with lions)

Mexico is part of North America. It is its southern most point.

There is no way that a several hundred tonne aeroplane could ever possibly fly. They're the size of a block of flats FFS! No way. I know I've been in one a few times but it must have been a trick of...Brexit or something.

That driving with the lights on in the car is illegal
