Mine is just under 10 miles away.

How interesting 🤔

Allmarbleslost · 31/08/2022 18:53

8.5 miles

Valid8me · 31/08/2022 19:37

38 miles to the north, 45 miles to the east, 51 miles to the north-west, and 57 miles to the south. It's nice to have a choice Grin

emmathedilemma · 31/08/2022 19:38

10.8km

LBOCS2 · 31/08/2022 19:41

13 miles South, 19 miles North-West, 40 miles North, or 41 miles North-East.

Lots of options 😁

LBOCS2 · 31/08/2022 19:41

Huh. Thirteen miles south.

SingingSands · 31/08/2022 19:43

Why do you ask?

Badger1970 · 31/08/2022 19:43

Regional airports around 50 to 60 miles away and we're about 100 miles from Heathrow. Given that both regionals are a PITA for getting to from us, we tend to default to Heathrow as it's motorway most of the way and simple.

PuttingDownRoots · 31/08/2022 19:43

700yards.

Surprisingly... no its not noisy. We aren't under the runway, and not near the access road.

H1Drangea · 31/08/2022 19:44

63 miles

YellowPlumbob · 31/08/2022 19:45

3.5 miles. I’m under the flight path. It’s busiest late at night.

SunshineClouds1 · 31/08/2022 19:45

5.7miles

HerRoyalNotness · 31/08/2022 19:45

Tiny local one 8miles away. International is 32miles away. Takes an hour to get there though

FettleOfKish · 31/08/2022 19:47

About 4 miles away but very few international flights, mostly domestic.

ApolloandDaphne · 31/08/2022 19:49

47 mikes to the nearest big airport. 16 miles to a very small airport I have never flown from.

MrsMoastyToasty · 31/08/2022 19:50

12 miles from Bristol Airport. We're under the approach route.
I used to live less than a mile from the aircraft works at Filton , Bristol where Concorde was built. That and the Red Arrows on air display events were the only ones that rattled the windows.

MooseBeTimeForSnow · 31/08/2022 19:50

Regional 12 miles
International 297 miles (next closest city)

MrsMoastyToasty · 31/08/2022 19:51

Correction. 12 miles from Bristol Airport.

Shitzngiggles · 31/08/2022 19:53

Half a mile from a major airport.

MooseBeTimeForSnow · 31/08/2022 19:54

And a return flight between the two will
set you back at least £250 per person

Frazzled2207 · 31/08/2022 19:57

8 ish miles

strange question though. It’s common knowledge where the main airports are and people live all over! Clearly the main airports are near population centres.

PilatesPeach · 31/08/2022 19:57

20 mins west of Heathrow

LubaLuca · 31/08/2022 20:00

Why would anybody be interested in this? I mean I'll tell you it's about 50 miles to the nearest international airport, but I don't know why anyone would find that interesting.

LionessesRules · 31/08/2022 20:02

Not very far. But it doesn't have useful flights!
About an hours drive for anything we might want to use at a sensible price.

mountainsunsets · 31/08/2022 20:02

56 miles but that's over the ocean on the Isle of Man 😂

The closest by land is Liverpool which is about 65 miles away.
